I saw the original of this last night on SKY and it got me to thinking about the real Carla Moran.  For those of you who don't know about what this all about.

Carla during the years os of 1974 -76 was supposedly attacked by spirits or Entities quite violently and eventually she left her house and moved to Texas but apparantly the attacks still happened.  So in in 1978 a film was made starring Barbara Hershey about the events.

After watching it I went and did a little research on the real Carla Moran (If indeed there is any truth to all of this.) and I found the best resource at Wiki ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carla_Moran )

The reason I post this here is because coming out next year is the remake of The Entity and Im sure there will be a lot of discussiona round this when that happens so I thought we could spark some discussion here.

Hideo Nakata (Ringu) will be directing and the script is currently be handled by the original author Frank De Felitta and a semi new comer David DiGilio. DiGilio is currently also working on a Disney movie called Antarctica which is currently in post production.
