While I'm in the Bond mood, might as well kick start this discussion too.
All chat surrounding this one in here (The title of the thread will change when the title is announced). What we know so far...
Bond 22 is the working title of a future EON Productions' James Bond film to follow the 2006 film, Casino Royale. It will be the 22nd official film in the James Bond franchise and the second to star Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming's British secret agent, James Bond. The film will be produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, and directed by Marc Forster. The film will be released worldwide by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer & Columbia Pictures. Originally scheduled for a May 2, 2008 release, it has been pushed back to November 7, 2008 to give the producers more time to complete the film.
Pre-production work on Bond 22 was already under way before filming of Casino Royale began in January 2006, according to an announcement by Michael G. Wilson during a news conference in London on October 14, 2005. In a November 17, 2006 interview with the BBC it was confirmed that Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who had previously written the screenplays for The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, and Casino Royale, would also be working on Bond 22. Paul Haggis will be returning to work on the script as well.
Broccoli confirmed that Bond 22 would be a continuation of Casino Royale. Daniel Craig may have hinted at the direction of Bond 22 when he stated that the events of Casino Royale would lead Bond to "go out for revenge".[4] If true, Bond 22 would be the first true 007 sequel (previous films have been linked, such as Dr. No and From Russia With Love or On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Diamonds Are Forever, but this would be the first original sequel).

Eva Green has stated in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Vesper's French-Algerian boyfriend mentioned in Casino Royale may be the villain in Bond 22. It is also possible she may return in a flashback/video scene.
Giancarlo Giannini told Italian newspaper il Giornale that he will be reprising his role of René Mathis from Casino Royale. He further disclosed that Mathis will be revealed to be an ally of James Bond, and will use his status as a double agent to help Bond find who Mr. White and Le Chiffre worked for. Writers Purvis and Wade have stated that it is unlikely that Q will make a return after his absence in Casino Royale; however, Miss Moneypenny may make a return.
There were rumours last week that Sony was zeroing in on a villain for Bond 22 and that it was likely to be Mathieu Amalric, star of the upcoming The Diving Bell And The Butterfly. We can now 100% confirm it, having spoken to Almaric earlier today.
Amalric would not be drawn on details of the character, but said that, yes, he will play the bad guy in the 22nd Bond movie. "I will, its true. I play the villain, yes. James Bond," Amalric said. "It has to do with childhood, you know? To be a villain in James Bond is just so funny. I never dreamt about that. Its not what I want to do with my career. Its just that I have kids and its so funny to do that. But it doesnt mean that Im not going to do a very small French film for free with my friends.
He seems perfect Bond villain casting to us, possessing foreignness, a slightly crazed look in his eye and a lot of acting talent (watch The Diving Bell And The Butterfly to see for yourself). Eva Green has dropped hints in the past that the villain of the next film would be her boyfriend referenced in Casino Royale. Could that be who Amalric will be playing? And are we going to be getting peeks at Bond's childhood?
The internet is currently abuzz with rumours that St Trinian's actress Gemma Arterton will be the next Bond girl, as reported in several tabloids today. Though we'd encourage you not to believe anything everything you read in the red tops, Empire has learned from a source who's in a position to be absolutely sure that this casting is 100% true.
What's not absolutely certain yet is whether Arterton will be the main Bond girl, like Eva Green in Casino Royale, or one of the peripheral lovelies like Caterina Murino and that other one. But what we're hearing suggests that she'll be in a fairly major role.
The storyline for Bond 22 or 007 as it's rumoured to be called after Daniel Craig accidentally slipped up slightly on a talk show is, of course, still under wraps, so there's no knowing what her role might be. Arterton's certainly got the looks for the part, though we can't judge her acting skills yet as we've yet to see St Trinian's, her first movie. But we do know she's lovely.
Well I've now seen St. Trinnians and she's well.... OK.
Former model Olga Kurylenko is to play James Bond's sidekick in the 22nd 007 movie, producers have announced. The 28-year-old Ukrainian, recently seen opposite Timothy Olyphant in video game spin-off Hitman, will star as the "dangerously alluring" Camille.
Her role is expected to eclipse that of St Trinian's actress Gemma Arterton, named as a Bond girl earlier this week.
Filming has already started, led by Kite Runner director Marc Forster. The movie is due for release on 7 November.
The plot is expected to follow on from the events of Casino Royale, with Bond picking up the pieces after being double-crossed by Treasury agent Vesper Lynd.
Producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said Camille "challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper's betrayal".
Daniel Craig will star as the British superspy for the second time.
Other returning cast members include Dame Judi Dench as M, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis.
French actor Mathieu Amarilic, currently winning plaudits for his role in The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, will play the villainous Dominic Greene, while 21-year-old Arterton makes her debut as MI6 Agent Fields.
Casino Royale, released in 2006, made almost $600m (£300m) at box offices around the world.
Quantum of Solace - well that sounds good (NOT) i kind of get the impression its a working title - remember Licence to kill it was caled Licence Revoked.
Nope Bond 22 is the Working Title. Quantam of Solace is the Official Title. It's taken from one of the short stories in Ian Flemings For Your Eyes Only.
QUANTUM OF SOLACE continues the high octane adventures of James Bond (DANIEL CRAIG) in CASINO ROYALE.
Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (JUDI DENCH) interrogate Mr White (JESPER CHRISTENSEN) who reveals the organisation which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined.
Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (OLGA KURYLENKO), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (MATHIEU AMALRIC), a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organisation.
On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the worlds most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (JOAQUIN COSIO). Using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land.
In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greenes sinister plan and stop his organisation
A stunt driver has crashed the car used by movie secret agent James Bond into Italy's Lake Garda during filming of 007's latest movie, Quantum of Solace.
The driver was delivering the iconic Aston Martin DBS to the film scene in heavy rain when he lost control around one of the lake's narrow curves.
The driver was quickly rescued and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Italian TV showed the car, reportedly the only one available for use in the film, being winched out of the lake.
Filming for the movie - starring Daniel Craig as the latest Bond - has already taken the crew to England, Panama, Chile and Mexico.
The newest film in the long-running 007 franchise is to be released later this year.

A stuntman is seriously ill in hospital after crashing a car on the set of the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
Aris Comninos crashed the Alfa Romeo whilst driving on a notoriously winding road near Lake Garda in northern Italy. Another stuntman had minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for the movie said filming has been suspended while the accident was being investigated.
The accident was the second on the Bond set in four days, after an Aston Martin skidded into a lake on Saturday.
Surgery
No one was injured and the car was later retrieved from the water.
Neither director Marc Forster, actor Daniel Craig nor any cast members were at the location when the most recent accident occurred.
A spokesman for the town of Limone sul Garda, where filming has been taking place for the past two weeks, said the car crashed into a wall during a chase sequence involving a truck and Bond's Aston Martin.
A helicopter kept on standby during filming flew the seriously injured stunt driver to Verona, where he underwent surgery.
Filming for the 22nd movie in the series has already taken the crew to the UK, Panama, Chile and Mexico.
The title of the film, which follows on from 2006's Casino Royale, is taken from a short story published by Bond creator Ian Fleming in 1960. It is due out in the UK on 31 October.
Amy Winehouse is working on a theme song for the forthcoming James Bond film with Mark Ronson, the producer has confirmed to the BBC.
But Ronson said there are no guarantees the track will be used for Quantum Of Solace as they have not been officially signed up to release the song.
"Hopefully it will get used. We're working on it and we'll see happens," the producer told BBC 6 Music.
Ronson also said he is working with Winehouse on her new album.
He said it was Winehouse who was first approached about the Bond theme tune.
"They asked Amy, and I think Amy said that if she did it, she'd want to do it with me. So hopefully something will come of it," he told the station's Music Week's show.
"The demo sounds like a James Bond theme, hopefully. But I don't know if it'll get used."
He added: "I'm sure there are loads more really famous people that probably we're competing with and we don't know about. I'm not sure.
"But hopefully I'll still be alive for at least 12 more Bond themes. If we don't get this one maybe we'll get another one."
For crying out loud, why do they insist of giving that worthless drug addled freak so many lifelines, especially for something like this? Just hurry up and OD you hag!
Ronson and Winehouse performed at the Brit awards this year
Work on a possible James Bond film theme has been abandoned because singer Amy Winehouse is not ready to make music, producer Mark Ronson has said.
The Brit award winner told Sky News that "unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal," the song would not materialise.
Ronson added that their work on other new music had not been finished either.
Winehouse's spokesman said the decision was taken because she had "other ideas" about how the song should be developed.
'Own decisions'
"She has always made her own decisions about her music. Needless to say, this is part of the process between artist and producer and we're sure they will continue to make great music together," he added.
The pair had yet to be officially signed up to compose the theme for Quantum of Solace, while Ronson said in a recent interview that the singer had been approached to work on the project.
He added that a demo had been produced, which "sounds like a James Bond theme".
Ronson said that they were probably in competition with "loads more really famous people" to write the song, but hoped they would have a chance to write the next one if they were unsuccessful.
Winehouse, whose battle against drink and drug addiction has overshadowed her musical success, recently received a police caution for common assault after slapping a man.
DANIEL CRAIG was rushed from the set of the new James Bond movie yesterday after cutting his hand.
The 40-year-old was shooting an action scene for Quantum of Solace at Pinewood studios in Bucks.
A witness said: There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to leave the set and see a doctor.
Some people are beginning to think the film is jinxed. During filming in Panama, Daniel injured his ribs. And a technician was stabbed in Austria by a woman he met in a bar.
In Italy a stuntman crashed an Alfa Romeo and a mechanic drove an Aston Martin into a lake.
Just last weekend a fire damaged some sets at Pinewood.
A spokesman for the £117million blockbuster said: Daniel Craig did sustain an injury to his hand. Craig returned to set later in the day.
Craig is currently filming his second Bond film, Quantum of Solace
A tuxedo Daniel Craig wore in 007 film Casino Royale is among the lots at a star-studded movie memorabilia auction, to be held in London later this month.
Broadcaster Jonathan Ross will host the Great British Movie Event on 17 June - a fund-raising dinner in aid of the National Film and Television School.
Other lots include an uncorrected proof of the first Harry Potter novel, signed by author JK Rowling.
A collection of figurines from Aardman Animation will go under the hammer too.
British film company Working Title, the event's main sponsor, will also auction two walk-on parts in its new romantic comedy Lost for Words.
Hugh Grant, who is reportedly in talks to star in the film, will be among the celebrity guests.
'Exciting'
Other attendees include Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson, Aardman's Nick Park and writer and director Richard Curtis.
"The cream of our TV and film industry is turning out to support the school, which is exciting," said NFTS director Nik Powell.
Based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, the National Film and Television School offers a number of courses in cinematography, editing and other skills.
Founded in 1971, the school's alumni include Nick Park, Harry Potter director David Yates and cinematographer Roger Deakins.
If you're a Bond fan don't make any plans for 5pm GMT on Monday, because that's when you'll be able to see the first trailer for the 22nd Bond film, Quantum of Solace. The trailer will also be attached to Hancock in cinemas. Come back on Monday and bring a martini with you.
Sorry but I have completely gone off Bond films! I'll give this one a chance as I always have (and probably will). But I think the only way for the franchise to move forward is with Bond going full Rogue Agent style...
Jack White wrote and produced the track, which he has recorded with Keys Alicia Keys and Jack White have recorded the theme tune for the next James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
R&B singer Keys has teamed up with the star of rock bands White Stripes and The Raconteurs for Another Way to Die, the first duet in Bond theme history.
The announcement follows speculation that the job would go to British stars Amy Winehouse, Duffy or Leona Lewis.
Quantum of Solace, which will see Daniel Craig return as 007, will be released later this year.
Winehouse was working on a theme with producer Mark Ronson - but that was scrapped because Ronson said the singer was not up to recording.
FIVE CLASSIC BOND THEMES Goldfinger (1964) & Diamonds are Forever (1971) - Dame Shirley Bassey Live and Let Die (1973) - Paul McCartney and Wings Nobody Does It Better (The Spy Who Loved Me, 1977) - Carly Simon A View To A Kill (1985) - Duran Duran
The new partnership sees the slick and soulful Keys team up with raw and bluesy rocker White.
Despite their different musical backgrounds, both are leading figures in the US scene, with 18 Grammy Awards between them.
White has written, produced and played drums on the track.
The film's producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said: "We are delighted and pleased to have two such exciting artists as Jack and Alicia."
The musicians "were inspired by our film to join together their extraordinary talents in creating a unique sound for Quantum of Solace", the producers said.
FIVE RECENT BOND THEMES
You Know My Name (Casino Royale, above, 2006) - Chris Cornell Die Another Day (2002) - Madonna The World Is Not Enough (1999) - Garbage Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) - Sheryl Crow GoldenEye (1995) - Tina Turner
Previous iconic James Bond signature tunes have been recorded by stars including Dame Shirley Bassey, Duran Duran and Sir Paul McCartney.
The theme to the last film, 2006's Casino Royale, was recorded by another US rocker, Chris Cornell.
Quantum of Solace, the 22nd official film in the 007 series, picks up from Casino Royale as the secret agent sets out to avenge the apparent death of his lover.
It has a bigger budget than the last film and producers have promised more action.
The title is taken from a short story published by Bond creator Ian Fleming in 1960.
It will hit cinemas on 31 October in the UK, with the rest of the world seeing it from early November.
David Arnold will compose the film's score, with the soundtrack to be released on 28 October.
Yes but Bond and gay disco anthems don't exactly go well together. At least Sheryl Crow and Madonna did something that was suitable to the whole Bond experience.
James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has been appointed to the board of the UK Film Council.
Broccoli, who is currently producing the forthcoming 007 adventure Quantum of Solace, is one of the UK film industry's most successful producers.
Her appointment was made by Culture Minister Margaret Hodge, and will run for four years.
Stewart Till, chairman of the UK Film Council, said he was "absolutely delighted" at Broccoli's appointment.
'Enormous asset'
"She's produced some of the most successful films in the world," he said.
"Her understanding of how big budget British films get financed out of Hollywood is extensive and unique.
"Barbara will be an enormous asset for the UK Film Council in our efforts to attract inward investment into the UK film production sector."
Broccoli's first credited job on the Bond films was as assistant director on Octopussy followed by A View To A Kill.
Later, she became associate producer on The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill, a post she shared with the long-established Bond associate producer Tom Pevsner.
Broccoli was then made producer alongside her brother Michael G Wilson on GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day and the most successful Bond to date, Casino Royale.
Since 2004, Broccoli has also been chair of First Light Movies, an organisation which provides funding and expertise to enable five to 19-year-olds throughout the UK to create digital short films.
It receives £1.1m of National Lottery funding every year from the UK Film Council.
