if you can't be bothered to go mental or even listen to normal music. you can "Mong Out" this is like being really lazy and chilling out whilst drinking a beverage of the alcoholic variety. I think it might just be a bristolian expression.
A few vidoes from Therapy?, the most underated British band of all time (imo!), starting with the song that was my Theme song for many years (when I was single!)
'Screamager'
'Nowhere'
'Stories'
And now for something completely different.....
Their cover of Husker Du's 'Diane', possibly the most disturbing song I own. Gotta love those cellos though!
Three very different vidoes from one of my favourite bands of the last few years, The Dresden Dolls. If you've not heard them before, check them out, they are one of the most original bands around today. Enjoy!
I am a massive fan of music videos, and there are plenty of brilliant ones out there! Feel free to post in this thread the videos that you love, that make you laugh, cry or just make you think. You don't even have to like the song (although it helps)
I'll start us off with one of my favourite bands, Rammstein, and their twisted take on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. This is 'Sonne'.
After the Basshunter thread I just started I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for people to post some interesting music videos they have seen.
Here is the first one from me, I like the song and the video is also very nice too
Bonnie Pink's latest single Ring A Bell is the theme for the PC game Tales of Vesperia, which features some animated clips courtesy of the legendary Anime studio Production I.G:
That was pretty awesome. Believe me if I ever make a video I'll post it here first :) It is a steller Idea though. I'd have to pics a cool song to play though.
:O Mollison what's wrong with Bullet? inf fairness I only went to spend the night alone in a hotel room in wales with a certain someone but the music has grown on me. Death Angel more than make up for the Bulletness. Nothing like some obscure bay area thrash to make you go mental :D
I admit they are more main stream than other bands out there but I figure all music is expression. Even if that expression is spoon fed them by a record company.
Still the best band to come out of wales in years (Not that that says much)
Lars still has a crappy drum sound, the riff is pretty much like every other riff circa Kill 'Em All and James is trying to sound like he did on Blackened 20 years ago.
Here's another track The Day That Never Comes:
To me it's Fade To Black part 2 with a touch of Mason Williams' Classical Gas in the guitar lines backing the versus.
It feels like a step backwards and not a progression, especially for a bunch of guys in their mid 40's.
I'm sure you younger Metallica fans will lap it up but for me I'll give it a miss.
