Fight For The Right Match Featuring TNA stars battling for a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Well for once at least they are not piling on the gimmick matches.
Ultimate X? Tables match? Reverse Battle Royale? Women's gauntlet match and a rumoured Monster ball match? Is that not enough gimmick matches for you?
BFG is (allegedly) TNA's version of Wrestlemania so of course they're going to overload the card. Problem is that TNA run the gimmcks to the ground so they cease to be special.
Ultimate X is where they have a "X" over the top of the ring (usually cables but now it's a couple of steel girders) and the title belt or whatever is suspended in the middle of the X. The wrestlers have to climb up the scaffold and across the center to retrieve the prize. Some of TNA's best matches have been Ultimate X.
The Reverse Battle Royale is where 15 men fight on the floor to get into the ring then when a certain number are in they have a regular battle royale until the final four face off in an elimination match. I think.
- Kurt Angle vs. Sting (TNA World Heavyweight Championship)
Because of Kurt's DUI I would assume they would drop the belt to Sting.
- Jay Lethal vs. Christopher Daniels (X Division Championship) Jay Lethal is heavily over at the mo so I expect him to retain
- Team Pacman vs. AJ Styles & Tomko (TNA Tag Team Championships) Pacman's on the way out so new Tag champs I reckon.
- The LAX vs. XXX (Ultimate X Match) It'll be close but Im going for LAX
- Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage (Must be a Winner w/ Matt Morgan as Special Enforcer) Cage, don't know why just think it will be him
- The Steiner Brothers vs. Team 3D (2 out of 3 Tables Match) Stieners even though this is 3Ds speciality. I feel they have 3Ds number.
- Abyss vs. Raven vs. Rhino vs. Black Reign (Monsters Ball) Its about time Abyss finally won a Monsters Ball.
- 10-Woman Knockout Gauntlet Match for Knockout Championship (Gail Kim, Jackie Moore, Roxxi Laveaux, Christie Hemme, Amazing Kong, O.D.B., Angel Williams, Talia Madison, Shelly Martinez & Ms. Brooks)
Gail Kim or Amazing Kong.... Gail Kim.
- 16-Man Fight for the Right Match to determine a new #1 contender (Robert Roode, Petey Williams, Kaz, Chris Harris, James Storm, Kip James, BG James, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave, Eric Young and Junior Fatu.) There's still 3 to be announced and I reckon they will be Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Sonjay Jutt or Shark Boy.
I think for some weird reason (Dixie's quite high on him at the mo and is quoted as saying it would be nice for him to have one last run) Nash.
Kurt Angle vs Sting - They've been teasing Nash interfering in this against Angle and knowing Russo it will be a swerve so I say Kurt retains with Nash's help.
Jay Lethal vs Christopher Daniels - Daniels has this odd new gimmick where he is talking to the "gods" so that will cost him here
Team Pacman vs AJ Styles & Tomko - No brainer as Pacman is pretty much done
LAX vs XXX - It's for the No 1 contender tag titles so the faces should go over.
Team 3D vs Steiners - I think the real brothers will take this one.
Samoa Joe vs Christian Cage - Time for Christian's first TNA loss
Women's Gauntlet: Amazing Kong - I hope it comes down to Kong vs ODB because that wil be a stiff fight.
Raven vs Rhino vs Abyss vs Black Reign - The big guy is mega over right now so the win is his.
Fight for the Right: Chris Harris - The last three names will probably be Sonjay Dutt, Shark Boy and Havok. Since the No 1 contender is to be determined and this is full of mid carders, Fatu, Storm, Roode or Harris would be the logical choices. Whoever wins this determines how the TNA World title match goes.
Fight For The Right Battle Royal - Eric Young def. Jimmy Rave, Lance Hoyt, Havoc, Shark Boy, Petey Williams, Kaz, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, Kip James, BG James, James Storm, Robert Roode, Chris Harris & Junior Fatu (11:55)
TNA Tag Team Titles - AJ Styles & Tomko def. Team Pacman (9:00)
X-Division Title - Jay Lethal def. Christopher Daniels (11:05)
Tables Match - Steiners def. Team 3D (12:45)
TNA Women's Title - Gauntlet Match - Gail Kim def Roxxi Laveaux, Jackie Moore, Tracy Brooks, Christy Hemme, ODB, Angel Williams, Talia Madison, Shelly Martinez & Awesome Kong (12:25)
Samoa Joe def. Christian Cage (15:45)
Monsters Ball Match - Abyss def. Rhino, Black Reign & Raven (9:30)
TNA World Title match - Sting def. Kurt Angle (18:35) Sting is the new TNA World Champion!!
Said to be a great show. Kong's new name is Awesome Kong and she fell out of her top during her match.
Pacman was replaced by a guy named Creed.
The Fight for the Right Battle Royale was just the first stage. There will now be an 8 man tournament on Impact.
Sounds like a good show, but why changer her name? Amazing Kong was just fine in my view..I guess its a little thing..
It's a copyright/trademark issue. If TNA trademarked "Amazing Kong" then they'd control that name and she wouldn't be able to use it elsewhere without their permission or make money from it. This way TNA own "Awesome Kong" and can use the name as they please while she can continue to be "Amazing Kong" in japan and elsewhere.
It's the same thing with Senshi. He can work elsewhere as Low Ki without TNA having any control over him or the name.
