The new version of this rather excellent game is due on the Wii.  But here's the good part:

The last time Nintendorks heard about Sonic the Hedgehog appearing in a Smash Bros. game, it turned out to be a nasty April Fools prank courtesy of EGM. Now, it looks as if the mascot match-up of the century is finally a reality, as Nintendo has announced the inclusion of Sonic in the upcoming Wii game, Smash Bros. Brawl.

Ive seen the trailer for this somewhere and it looks awesome. Another reason tog et a Wii even If I have to get a 360 first...

Man i want this game so badly, Sonic vs Mario is THE match iv always wanted to see happen so i cant wait to destroy that poncy little Italian plumber with the far superior speed demon Blue Hedgehog in this game ^^.

Bought it quite recently and its a fabulous game,so many things to collect (ala the gamecube version with all the trophies),many unlockables (classic demo versions,extra stages and characters) and so much to enjoy,loving the adventure mode,the great cut scenes but i wish the characters had some dialouge to speak rather then just breezing through them.Pretty cool playing as solid snake (my faverate character) and beating the hell out of Mario and Kirby...man i dislike them so bad.
Great game ^^.

Completed the adventure mode but man its hard.And its almost impossible to unlock some of the hidden trophies as well,such as survive 100 man melee on hard mode,thats almost to hard to do :(.Trying to unlock the cel shaded link character but he keeps crushing me everytime i fight him.
