The epic saga continues with Halo 3, the hugely anticipated third chapter in the highly successful and critically acclaimed Halo franchise. Master Chief returns to finish the fight, bringing the epic conflict between the Covenant, the Flood, and the entire human race to a dramatic, pulse-pounding climax.

Taking full advantage of the power of Xbox 360, Halo 3 expands on everything that has made the Halo franchise great, adding a wealth of graphical, technical and gameplay advancements, as well as offering a whole new level of online gameplay.



I havent actually played this game as yet, but I'm lending a copy this weekend to check it out. It has had some good press prior to release (lets hope it hasnt been over-hyped) and plays well. From the screenshots (thanks gamespot) the graphics look great (Glad I got an HD TV), and the reviews I have read on this said the same, also that the sound is awsome in it too. So has anyone out there played this yet? any pointers for when I start?

This is a pretty awsome game, had a quick look at it this weekend, graphics and audio are fantastic, and it seems they have built on the idea's of the first 2 (as all sequels should build on the good bits and dump the bad). I hope to get some time when im off this week to give it some more of my time.

The game is pretty good, but i feel something has been lacking from it, i think it pretty samey when compared to the others in the series.

iv never been a huge fan of Halo, the original halo was a good shooter but the second didnt do enough for me so i havent tried this one yet. I might get it when its down in price but at the moment i dont really fancy this one at all.
