Wandering loner Van meets up with young girl Wendy to travel across the Planet of Endless Illusion both in search of the man with the claw hand. Van's wife to be was killed by the Claw Man while Wendy believes he kidnapped her brother. Along the way they meet a variety of people who join them in their mission, when the Claw Man's plans for world peace are revealed and are lot more sinister than they sound.

GunXSword (the X is silent) a Mecha/adventure story that contains every single cliche in Anime imaginable yet it still manages to be a fun show once it finds its feet after a rocky start.
