24 Man Battle Royale - Winner faces Chavo Guerrero that night for the ECW Title
Playboy Bunnymania Lumberjack(Jill?) Match
Here is the official thread for WM 24. Please put all related chat in here. I've started this now as the rumour mills have started and you could always chat about ideal line ups etc.
Well, at least we know that Triple H is going to get a shot at the Royal Rumble. His match with Jeff Hardy was made into a number one contender's match, and there is no way that Hardy wins that one. I am about 90% sure that Helmsley will be the the champ at WM, but I would love to see him defend against Ric Flair, who would be an amazing choice to win the Royal Rumble...just because it's so unbelievable.

I wouldn't hold your breath on Flair considering he wasn't on RAW this week and plans may have changed for his angle.
We also don't know how old that news about the initial WM 24 plans are. With the Hardy vs Bionic H match now a No 1 contender they may give Jeff the title shot and have The H win the Rumble.
That RAW main event news was on this weeks Wrestling Observer so it's new. Also, there are some rumours that Jim Ross is trying to bring in Sting to the WWE to work with Flair in his last match. What with Sting's TNA future up in the air at the mo, anything could happen..
I've been reading elsewhere that apparantly Hogan is in line for a Match at Mania how about putting him in against Flair for his retirement match? Yes I know the match would stink the place up, but at least it has more marquee value than HHH/DAVE.
Dammit, Hogan was buried by Vince last year for revealing the HOF names on a radio show and now they are working together again? Jesus, way to look to the future Vince!
Yes but they both are shrewd businessmen. They know how to make money. Thus why they repeatedly bury their differences. If anything it could be ahuge money spinner for them
The eternal talk of Hogan Vs. Austin has reared it's head again, possibly becasue of them both being at 15th Anniversary RAW... When will people learn that the likelyhood of this happening is the same as me having Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, katherine heigl, Elisha Dushku and Elisabeth in one big orgy at my place....
cant see why anyone would want Hogan vs Austin, sure the atmosphere would no doubt be electric if the 2 would square off but it would be a pretty horrible match. The sad thing is that both mens huge egos would not allow one of them to put the other one over, yet they neglect the most important thing in this and thats the fans, the fans would love to see them fight just one time, but it appears never of them care about that, if this makes any sense ^^.Unless one of them decides to do the job for the other one, it wont happen.
Nice to see him back, will have to see his return match when i can.Kobashi is awesome.Back on topic but i can see a Lashley vs Batista match up for the title,iv always thought this may be on the card. This is my predicition for wrestlemania so far and its card.
World Heavyweight Title Batista vs Lashley
WWE title Triple H vs Ric Flair
Undertaker vs Edge
Jeff Hardy vs Shawn Micheals
Mvp vs Matt Hardy
Maybe throw in a money in the bank match and a 4 way tag match to.
Yes, I do mean Heat. I actually don't follow wrestling close enough to know that it's on WWE.com, nor do I really care to watch it. I just think that it's a good place for young guys to get their feet wet, and maybe to take some of the sparkle out of their eyes before they step onto the big stage.

Well, as it's on WWE.com then debuting new guys isn't a good idea because no-one watches it. Much like they used to when it was on TV and the old Velocity show.
Yeah, I didn't even have any idea that the show was on WWE.com. Then I went on there to try to watch it, and it took me about 5 minutes to watch it. I guess you have to really be a hardcore WWE fan (which I am not) to watch it.
As far as when it was on TV, I think that they used it as too much of a recap show. There is already enough crap on the Monday and Friday shows, and I would have liked it if they just went out and showed us like four or five matches in an hour. Normally, however, there were maybe one or two matches. They didn't do it right.

Before SD arrived in August 1999, Heat was the no 2 show behind RAW for a while then when SD came it was a useful third hour to give other guys TV time with the occasional big name main event. Then about 2002 with the roster split it became a RAW jobber show before it was dropped.
I haven't watched Heat since Molly Holly's last appearance which was in 2005 I think. The last time I watched a full episode was probably in 2001/02.
Yes, I have never been a fan of the brand split. I was a die hard watcher before the brand split a few (maybe more?...where has the time gone?) years back, but I have watched sporadically since. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I just noticed that.

I reckon (after what happened on Raw 15th Ann) that Hogan will be fighting Great Khali (and will think that powerslamming him will work
Also heard there may be talks of HHH v Orton v Batista. If i was WWE i'd throw Flair in there too just for old time sakes.
With JBL returning to ring he'll prob want some kind of match i'm guessing. Maybe if Flair isn't in main event it'll be him otherwise HBK, or Jericho. Forgot he was kicking about, lol. Too many choices.
I've heard the Sting rumours too...but theres not much chance of that happening seeing as how Sting has just signed a new contract with TNA. I doubt TNA would 'lend' Sting to WWE to be in one of the 3 wrestlemania main events.
I would hate flairs last opponent to be hogan.Hulk would never let Flair beat him clean.Would be awesome to see Arn and Flair though! has Arn and flair ever wrestled a match? I would personally love to see a flair vs Steamboat match but its probably not very likely.
They'll want someone who has some agility to counter the sloppyness of Flairs performance. They wont want a sham like the Taker chokeslam on Hogan! In an ideal world it would be a submission match with Bret. I KNOW that will never happen! The shape they're both in would stop it being thay match it could be.What bout it being vs. MVP with Trips making a save after MVP gets tooled up. Leaving the two to have a teary farewell together...? Just an idea!
RIC FLAIR will face Shawn Michaels in what could be the Nature Boys last ever bout, a high ranking WWE official has revealed.
While plans in the federation constantly change, right now a Flair v Michaels dream match is set to take place at WrestleMania XXIV in Orlando.
Ric has vowed to retire from the squared circle after his next loss, with many thinking that a rising star like MVP or Mr Kennedy would be chosen by WWE bosses to get the rub of ending such a legendary career.
However, with D-Generation X founder Michaels looking for a big name opponent, Vince McMahon has provisionally approved a plan for him to face his real-life friend.
The WWE official told wrestlingnewsdesk.com: Shawn retiring Flair is something that could get Shawn booed.
But Vince figures the crowd will give Flair this huge emotional standing ovation, and it doesn't matter if they're 'Wooooing' or crotch chopping during the match. All the focus will be on Flair after it's over.
Even the WWE cant be silly enough to use a face who himself is nearing the tail end of his career for this. Its the perfect time to push one of the new generation of heels! If they don't take it, it would be a travesty!
-- Vince McMahon is said to be training harder than usual, which is leading some to believe that he'll have a match at WrestleMania. From the direction they're going on television, it appears that some sort of McMahon vs. Finlay match is in the works, but it hasn't been 100% confirmed yet. Mick Foley's name has been tossed around, but they've done nothing to indicate that he's coming back and they've been building up the feud between McMahon and Finlay for weeks.
Sounds like a typical WM card filler. They need to end the whole Hornswoggle, Vinny, Finlay thing asap. Hornswoggle is mildly amusing at times but the story line was just lame.
In an interview with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, former WWE champ Stone Cold Steve Austin said that WWE offered him a spot at WrestleMania which he turned down. "I'd like to go to the Hall of Fame and see the guys get inducted. They got enough talent in WWE that they don't need me for WrestleMania, and it's not my desire to go back into the ring," Austin said. While Austin didn't reveal what 'pitch was thrown at him' he said that he's always interested for a cameo if it's a good idea. "If I really needed the money, I'd go back in the ring, but I've been conservative with my money and invested wisely. I have fond memories of the business, and I love the business, but I don't miss it." Since wrestling his last match at WrestleMania 19, Austin appeared as a referee at WrestleMania 20, on Piper's Pit at 21, skipped WrestleMania 22 and then appeared as a referee again at WrestleMania 23.
