Since they are always abundant, I decided to start a thread about any and everything that has to do with one band covering the song of another. Or another artist, or whatever. You can go however you want with this (maybe you find a good one, maybe you find a bad one), but I just think it'll be an interesting topic with a lot of legs that we can discuss.
I'll get us started.
I found an interesting video while I was browsing the MySpace TV section. As some of you know by now, I am a huge fan of The Killers. I had no idea that they even did this, but their is a video of their cover of Dire Straights' "Romeo and Juliet." It's a really good song, and I actually think that this is a good cover of the original. Brandon Flowers is one of the more underrated front men out there, and the band doesn't get enough credit.
(My original embed didn't work, so I will put up the direct link for now. I'll try to find it on YouTube).
I guess that nobody is interested in The Killers cover of "Romeo and Juliet," so I'll post about a more famous cover: Guns N Roses cover of Bob Dylan's "Kockin on Heaven's Door"

Below you will find one of the most original covers I've heard for ages. Its Apocalyptica ft Till Lindermann. The first person to tell me what popular song it is a cover of gets 10 points!
