Explorer or Firefox?

OK, so I finally got around to downloading Firefox on my new laptop. And I must say, it's a godsend. My computer is so much faster now, and everything on the Internet downloads faster. Plus, I think that they layout looks better. I didn't import my settings/passwords/etc. from IE (for various reasons), but that has been the only downfall so far. But it's not that difficult to change everything again.

I was just wondering what you guys use. I'm not the biggest computer nerd in the world, but I'm sure we have at least one on here.

It is Firefox for me but only because my brother installed it and told me to use it instead of IE. I don't know why I should use it instead, but I've not had many problems with it except for a certain torrent site where they don't download in Firefox so I have to open them in IE.

When at home i only use firefox (unless its for windows update cos then it wants IE only) but still, firefox is the one, Opera is also quite good at the moment, so if you want to try another browser, give that one a go.

Opera is pretty good, it has some pretty fun plugins and some good skins if you use that sort of thing, personally i use firefox as it is slightly more reliable

I thought that came out last week? Didn't they want to have the fastest number of downloads to reach 1 billion or something in 48 hours of release?

Yep but since there was nothing in here, i thought id post it, so people can update and play with the new features. Firefox 2 is still being updated separately as well. It is currently at 2.0.0.15

im useing fire fox 3 once it had installed propperly and id sorted out my pop ups and blocks i like it.

IE7 is ok

I have also upgraded to FF3. Its great, but it plays havoc with attaching links on CPC Movies pages....
