Richard Donned was the first director of superman 1 which was ment to follow onto superman 2 but he got the sack after filming 50% of superman 2.

30 years later the footage has been added to superman 2 and other parts deleted which makes the film as close to the original vision as possible.

I watched the Richard Donner version a few nights ago and highly recommend it their a few funny scenes where Lois tried to work out Clark is Superman and more Part with Marlon Brando which was never put in as he demanded 26% of the films profits.

I recommend this as one for the christmas List.
