Quite surprised by the results of the recent Aussie open with Nadal and Federer falling at the semis to Tsonga and the eventual winner (his name i forget!).Andy Murray is always getting Injured it seems and it looks like he may end up being the new Tim Henman...

Well the aussie open always throws up a few shocks whilst the players find there feet playing again.
Well done to Djokovic he deserves the title after the way he played. And lets hope that he can compete at the other grand slams as well, then we could be in for a great year of tennis.

As for Andy Murrey, i just think he didnt wanna go to Argentina and has used the time to rest up ready for the hectic year.

How does that happen? Andy Murray has a bad week at one of the master's series event, and then he gets a bye in the next tournement even tho he is seeded low. The good news is he has been seeded away from Federer so if the good andy turns up this week he may have a shot the tournement, if the bad version turns up then he may aswell pack his bags now and go home, but then i suppose a £10,000 pay cheque is always worth turning for.

Wouldn't matter if he was seeded in the side with Federer, he would fancy his chances now after beating him for the second time in a row last time.

Well i suppose that is true with the way Federer is playing at the moment, he can hardly win a game, and lost to Murray and Mardy fish, who you ask? Exactly u have got players who shouldnt get a look in beating Federer at the moment.

Nobody can work out what has happened to him, as he is really off the boil.

federer isa great player but like borg, sampras and macenroe they all get older and start to lose form.

murray is the next generation lets see if he gets as good as we hope he will be

Well u say that about federer but he is still only 26 and that is still young, i would understand the suituation if he was 29/30, and started to lose form, like Sampras etc. But then on the other side of the coin you have to look at Agassi he was 35 when he retired and was still playing at a very high level.

The problem with Federer at the moment i feel is motivation, as he was won everything in the game, except one title the French Open, so i wonder if he is saving himself for an all out assult on that title this year, but then he still needs maytch practice.

Surprised noone has talked about Wimbledon here! Some big names out already and as usual our one and only best player is left remaining,Andy Murray is a good player and having beaten Federer a few times now, he has a good chance of winning this just as much as anyone.Still i see him picking up the title again this year, the mans a tennis machine. The womens game is far more compeitive but some of the attire worn by some of the girls is really quite appalling..

there was a story when Federa won Wimbledeon the first time he was given a cow by the Swiss government.

he must have a whole herd now...

is seen federa Play he is the man to beat. Nadal well lets see, murray last best chance for Britian.

the new lad Chris Eaton well typical plucky 2nd rounder, but due the sports policy (OR LACK OF 1) he lost.

i hope it rains so we can see the new centre court roof being used.

BTW have you noticed, the US Open is calle the US Open, the French Open is called the French Open, The Australian Open is called the (you guessed it ) The Australian Open, BUT......The British Open is not callled The British Open its called Wimbledon.

Good comeback by Murray tonight, thought it was a great match.

Does centre court have a roof now?  I thought that was next year when it'd be ready.

I was impressed by Murrays grit last night. If he keps tht up he could stand a chance against Nadal. Bearing in mind Murray did beat Federer earlier this year...

So it'll be a staight sets loss then.

Indeed Murray lost in straight sets, outclassed.Nadal was far to strong for him though he may have been far more fresh with Andy being in the tiring match the other night.Looks like another Nadal vs Federer final, which is cool.Nadal is the tennis player iv become a fan of watching the game over the last few years.

i reckon nadal will win the final tomorrow.  Think he has improved alot on grass over past couple of years.

Shame J Murray couldn't get to another final, would of liked to see him do it again.

Apparently there is a british girl in junoirs wimbledon final, not that i've seen anything of her but apparently she threw a strop in the semis after her opponent served underarm biggrin

I have it on good authority that Federer will most likely win as the court conditions favour him As its been so dry the grass mud is powedery which is why you see Nadal slipping and Federer looks like he is walking on air Nadal has even put in a late request for some extras pairs of Nike Grass Court Trainers
