Bruce Lee is the man.Always has been, amazing charisma and immense martial arts skills.Others that i really enjoy include Donnie Yen,Michelle Yeoh,Jet Li,Tak Sakaguchi (japanese martial arts star) and Jung Doo-hong.

Tony Jaa is missing from that list, but Bruce is and always will be the man. That's why he's in the CPC Movies Hall of Fame

Jackie Chan by far. He mastered a lot more martial arts that Bruce Lee and was just a better all round performer.

I don't think Tony Jaa deserves to be on the list yet as he is more of a gymnast/tricker than a martial artist. But he is learning. Sammo should be on the list though ;).

I think Bruce would have murdered Jackie myself Jack! And its a bit unfair to say Jackie is a ar better all round performer when hes had the oppertunity to make far more films then bruce had. Bruce made only a few movies and is held in the higest reguard by fans and people all over the world, his impact can never be underestimated.Jackie is great but Bruce was the best...for me anyway ^^.Sammo Hung should be on here to, as should Bolo Yeoung!

Well, Jackie did get to live longer than Bruce. But Bruce did invent his own Martial Arts in Jeet Kun Do which Jackie hasn't.

Let's be fair here - Bruce was a martial artist first and a performer second; Jackie started off in Peking Opera and learned martial arts later. Jackie is more entertaining as a performer (again, he had the longevity to improve) but no way is he better martial artist. And Jackie wouldn't have made it in Hollywood if Bruce hadn't opened the doors for him and very other martial artist.

But I agree that Sammo should be on the list too! smile.gif

Bruce made Jeet Kun Do just by mixing a few of the martial arts he had learned with his own "special" twist on it. Am sure Jackie could do that too if he wanted.

And as for being a performer first and martial artist second, Jackie Chan started in the Opera school and learning martial arts at the age of 6, and trained religiously for the next decade, and after he left he did other types of martial arts. He started when he was younger than Lee and mastered many more and a wider variety. I also believe Jackie Chan was faster, if you watch him in his prime he was outstanding, Drunken Master, Dragon Lord, The Young Master, Dragon's Forever.

Am not taking anything away from Lee, he was excellent and did a lot for China. But If Jackie had came along first maybe he would have been as "big" as Bruce Lee, don't hold it against him that he was born later than Bruce Lee :P.
