After reading a article on near miss casting such as Robert Redford was originally slated for The Graduate in the Dustin Hoffman role and Tom Selleck was meant to be Indiana Jones.  Also, Will Smith turned down the role of Neo in the Matrix and most shockingly of all Bill Murray was the original casting choice for Forrest Gump!  it got me to thinking  What would other films of turned out like if someone else was in them.
