im no expert - but i would say take your lap top and ask for the wireless key to their router put that in to your comp and it should work - i went to a hotle in blackpool they had wireless and all i needed was the key for the router.

im sure there are more quilified people who can supply the answer.

but as far as i know internet conections are much alike

much apprechiated braxious, it sounds quite simple but im not sure about configuring it into my computer...hopefully i wouldnt have to do that but i know nothing about computer problems sadly :(

its very simple - do you have a router at home for your wifi?

if you do is it secured?

if not then get it secured.

heres how to conect.

1) click the wireless icon
2) it will show what networks are available
3) when you see your firends network click that 1
4) if it is secured ask for the code key
5) insert the key and then click ok
6) this should conect you to the router

then your comp will say conected to network and you should be able to surf.
