The WWE is now starting an international scouting hunt for a Chinese Giant. In essence, the WWE is looking to find a "Yao Ming" of wrestling. They are searching for a Chinese athlete that could be molded into a big international star in the U.S. and in China. The Chinese market is pretty much untapped, so WWE officials feel that by finding a Chinese Giant, it could create a superstar, just as the NBA has done with Ming. WWE agents will be especially watching the Beijing Olympics to see if they can find their "Giant".

So they didn't learn with Khali then...  Although apprantly he is 'massive' in India, no pun intended.

Oh dear, so the E will watch the bejing olympics and search to find a giant with no wrestling skill so or background? From what i know, WWE isnt shown in China but i could be wrong,but i guess it could help them gain mainstream publicity there if they do go ahead with this.

WWE is trying to break into China and has already set up office there I believe as it's an as yet untapped market.

I'd like to see how those who try to say the WWE isn't just about a big men defend this idea...
