Im in for it! Heres my 4 picks! (ill find pics later though)

Tsukamoto Tenma (School Rumble)
Utterly adoreable and cute,some find her irritating in the manga and series,but shes so darn funny and very cute,one of my faverate female characters in all of anime/manga.Love her little pigtales with her long flowing locks.A bit dumb,Naive, but a very cute,sweet character.

San (Princess Mononoke)
A strong female character in one of Ghibilis best movies,not only strong but has a gentleness and a beauty about her in her love for protecting nature and the world.Not your generic looking anime girl,but a very beautiful character in her own way.

Aeries (Final Fantasy Advent children)
It was a toss up between her and the ever lovely Tifa but Aeries just gets it because of radience and truely wonderful nature.In the game she was one of the sweetist characters of all time and even in her little spots in the CGI anime,she was stunning.I love her ^-^.

Sakura (Naruto)
Though im not the biggest fan of Naruto (mainly for Naruto being a complete moron most of the time) I like the other characters a lot more and i find Sakura quite a cutie with her pink hair and cute little outfit,shes quite a cutie and again a more unique looking girl then a lot of other characters in anime.

Well at least one person likes my idea. I look forward to the pictures you post for them Totty.

I'm even finding it difficult to narrow it down to only 4 choices. So I decided to restrict myself to one character from a series.

So my First choice is from Bleach, this was a very difficult choice as there are so many nice female characters including Inoue Orihime, Kuchiki Rukia, Soifon, Rangiku Matsumoto, Hinamori Momo, Nanao Ise and Nemu Kurotsuchi.

But my choice from Bleach is Shihouin Yoruichi because not only is she really nice she can also turn into a cat which is so cool.

My Next Choice is an easy one, from Ghost in the Shell it is Major Motoko Kusanagi.

My Third choice is from Elfen Lied and it has to be Lucy/Nyuu, cute and deadly!

My Final Choice is from Full Metal Alchemist and it was a decision between Winry and the one I chose First Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye.

Also is the criteria who we enjoy as characters or "fancy" because I prefer my women real!

Not a terribly flattering pic but she is a real kick-ass babe with attitude.

Re-l Mayer (Ergo Proxy)

She's cool and keeps her cards close to her chest but she's not afraid to get stuck in when necessary.

Maya Natsume (Tenjho Tenge)

A martial arts babe with a heart despite her tough exterior.

Cisqua (Elemental Gelade)

She may be small and squeaky but she's a gutsy little mama with a sense of justice.

Cant we just have a vote between ourselves Nymvette? 3 people is better then none, its a good idea but as usual,you know apart from you, Mib, myself and Glowlad, theres not a lot of people with classy taste like us..
