Well, after the disaster of me deleting the previous banner by mistake, I am now looking for a new one.

Now as Im useless at this kind of thing, I am hoping one of youpaint shop pro, photoshopper types can come up with something. I am going to post this on the main site as a competition but I thought I d give all forum members a few days headstart.

What I am looking for is a banner which is 1600 wide by 75 in height

What I wouldlike in it like the previous one which had head shots of film people. Now I would like something more up to datewith current movies as well as classics in it.

ABSOLUTE MUST Heath Ledgers Joker, WALL*E, Johnny Depp as Captain Jack, Iron Man

Others in the list could be:

Speed Racer
The Incredible Hulk
Indiana Jones
Star Wars
The Matrix
Clark Gable
Death Note or Bleach characters
ANgelina Joile from Wanted
Jessica Alba
Transformers
Shia Labeouf in Disturbia
Harry Potter
Terminator
Predator
Alien
Arnold Schwarzenegger
STallone as either Rocky or Rambo

You get the idea, but try and keep the images current as possible please.

A prize for the winner which will probably be some DVDs which I will sort out later...

Well, I was going to start one yesterday with all the pictures collected (until I ran into some PC problems) but mine would have been a lot different from yours DM.

It would have included cinema legends and classic film moments from throughout the last 100 years from silent cinema to today although the emphasis would have been on the classics and about 99% of your suggestions wouldn't have made it. wink.gif

Ah well, perhaps I could combine the two lists...

BTW - isn't 1600 a bit wide? My monitor is 1280 x 1024 so I would lose 1/4 of the banner while people on 1024 (or 800) would lose half of it.

Maybe 1000 is a better compromise?

Yea that was a typo on my part. It needs to be long and thin like the otherone. Other than the must haves just give it whirl. The reason for the the ones on that list is beacuse they are current movies, thus giving us an up to date feel, there's nothing to say they shouldn't be interchangeable if we get several good ones.

Oh and I missed Daniel Craig as Bond and some Disney characters? off the list, which is a guideline for ideas really.

Id say the Munroe one and the Mickey Mouse will be pretty hard to predict... Especially as the Mickey one appeared on pretty much every Mickey Mouse Cartoon.... Although knowing you MiB I think it's a fairly good guess that it is.....

Ah no....I meant in the instance where the image used is taken from a film. Obviously those two don't count as one is a posed shot and the other is from the opening of the cartoons.

Right although I haven't asked Mr. iB yet. I as thinking down the road it would be nice to have the mural on rotation so we could possibly have 2 or 3. SO what I would like get people involved in is who or what they would like charcter wise on the mural. You need to have future/current movie releases mixed with classic/older movies. I'll throw some suggestions out there for a starter (Oh and Mr. iB I'll mail you later...)

Po the Panda - Kung Fu Panda
Jet Li - Mummy Tomb of...
Anakin - Clone Wars

Older/classic
