TOKYO

Actress Yukie Nakama, 28, crashed her car into a pole after driving the wrong way along a one-way street in Shibuya on Sunday, police said Tuesday. She is not injured, they said.

According to police, the accident occurred around 6 p.m. The car hit a steel pole between the street and a house. Police said the actress wont be charged with reckless driving.

Nakama released a statement through her agent, saying: I am really sorry for causing trouble. I swerved to the left to avoid a car coming toward me and hit the pole. I will pay for any damages to the house.

And how did she end up driving down a one way road the wrong way?

Im sure it was genuine accident Mib! I couldnt imagine Yukie being someone who recklessly drives or causes trouble, thankfully shes fine but she should be more careful ^-^..
