I downloaded a few songs, all paid for, from woolworths the other week. I succesfully transfered one song to my MP3 player but all the others refuse to work, saying they arent licensed or something that, when I try to move them to my player. Yet on media player the licensed do seem to acquired.
I try to set up a sync on WMP...it tries to acquire the license for a second or two, then says unable to find license. Yet under Properties there is a license.
I actually don't download much music to be honest. Mostly selected J-Pop which isn't released over here and the odd classic or obscure 60/70's track or 80's stuff that it is not worth buying an album for just one or two songs.
Have you at any point moved the files around on your computer or have they always remained in their original location?
Until recently I had always kept them in my documents, before moving them to my music the other day. I can play them on my PC, but they wont sync with my MP3 player.
It does make me question why I bother being a good boy, when its being nothing but an expensive hassle.
I use Ipod and Itunes, people may complaun about them, but it all works first time. I've even transferred my Itunes library to another pc and everything still works including my purchased music.
Sorry doesn't help your problem, but I just thought I'd mention it.
It's my Dad's birthday today and Mum got him an iPod and my sister got him an iTunes voucher, so I warned him about GLOWlad's problems. We'll see how much luck he has.
GLOWlads problems are with songs bought from woolworths download, as I said I have an ipod and buy from itunes and have not had any problem with them. Although people complain about itunes and apple locking music to their format, it does appear to all work very well.
My Dad had some initial problems getting the songs onto his iPod from the iTunes site as he's not used to downloading or iPods. I think he got it sorted in the end though.
