On the last ECW on Sci Fi, Paul Heyman rocked the sports-entertainment world when he declared Rob Van Dam's shot at the ECW World Title at December to Dismember will take place in the first-ever Extreme Elimination Chamber Match. This week, Heyman will make yet another startling announcement regarding the final chamber spot on Dec. 3. What would Heyman declare that will effect not just ECW, but all WWE brands?
ECW's "Messiah" will also provide details regarding the main event of Tuesday's edition of ECW on Sci Fi - a program that is already jam-packed with extreme, hardcore action. What more could Heyman bring to ECW fans on Tuesday night?
As ECW fans learned in the latest entry of Punk's Blog, the straight-edge Extremist accepted Mike Knox's challenge to a one-on-one encounter. Not only will pride be on the line when these men face, but the winner will also earn a chance at winning the ECW World Title because the winner will become the fourth Extremist in the Extreme Elimination Chamber.
Yet another spot for December to Dismember's main event will be also filled on the next ECW on Sci Fi, as well, as Test is set to take on ECW Original Tommy Dreamer. The first of four qualifying matches for the other Extreme Elimination Chamber competitors has already taken place and Sabu proved to be victorious over Kevin Thorn on the vampire enthusiast's favorite holiday. Who will qualify this week?
The man who has been slated for an ECW World Title opportunity all along, RVD, had a rough night last week. Heyman was up to monkey business as usual as got the better of Van Dam in RVD's tag team match. How will RVD respond to Heyman's tactics? Following a tremendous display of size, strength and dominance at Cyber Sunday, what will Big Show's next steps be as he continues his reign?
Also on ECW on Sci Fi, Daivari and the Great Khali shook up the ECW roster when they made their presence felt. Will the Punjabi Warrior and his loud-mouthed associate take over their new brand?
Find out the answers to all of these questions and more on ECW on Sci Fi at 10/9 CT.
Looks like we are gonna get a cross promotional Elimination chamber then. Don't you just love the fact that the WWE has so much faith in the ECW brand
Have you not been paying attention, he was gonna quit if they left him on SD! so they moved him across to ECW... Astheir rising 'Black' star. As SD! now has MVP and in what may also be news to you RAW is getting Monty Brown.

A distraught Paul Heyman was sent home by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum hours before an ECW live event.
Distraught by the results of December to Dismember, ECW Representative Paul Heyman appeared to be distant and depressed this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum hours before an ECW live event.
This condition was further exasperated by Mr. McMahon, who decided to send Heyman home. The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman’s dismissal.
From all looks of things, today's dismissal of Paul Heyman by WWE is not part of any storyline, and appears to be legit. According to Dave Scherer, Heyman is the fall guy from last night's terrible December to Dismember pay-per-view. Heyman was well aware that the show would bomb, and spoke up prior to and after the PPV. Following a meeting with Vince and Stephanie McMahon earlier this afternoon, Heyman gathered his things are left the building.
Pretty much covers it. Although it is starting to reek of a work....

ECW has been full of debuts lately. One new ECW Superstar who seems to be already making an impact and causing a potential rift among some smitten members of Extreme Exposé is The Miz. Will he make his debut in the Land of Extreme? And will the ladies of Extreme Exposé patch up their alleged differences?
Meanwhile, no one seems to be having sweet dreams about Boogeyman. The man from The Bottomless Pit has been causing ECW Superstars to toss and turn in their sleep. Who will he come to get next?
You will see all this and more on ECW on Sci Fi every Tuesday at 10/9 CT.
I don't know about you but I can't see Nitro as a credible Champion. I'm kinda hoping his reign is a short one. Once again Vince sticks it to the ECW faithful. Put the Belt on Dreamer even if only for a month. Could turn the brand around and get thefans intrested again. just don't put it on Miz....

10:55 Back from commercial break with Nitros press agent in the ring Johnny Nitro came into sports entertainment as a member of MNM. As I said earlier, ECW will never see Johnny Nitro again, because Johnny Nitro has changed his name. Let me introduce you to the man who will defeat CM Punk at the Great American Bash, The ECW Champion
John TravoltaerrJohnny Nitro walks out and gets in the ring, taking the mic.
I came out here tonight to make a statement. My name is not Johnny Nitro. My name is John Morrison. I was given that name at birth and since then I was destined to do great things.
Four months old, I could walk, eight months old I could run. How many people can say they did that.
As my mind grew, so did my body. I was so gifted I skipped first grade, I went straight to 3rd grade. In High School I was elected Student Body President and I didnt even run. Thats how much of a leader I am.
These accolades are only attributed to true champions and I have an accolade that few can claim. I am the ECW World Champion.
Still there are some people out there who doubt me, well for those of you, was there any doubt after I defeated Dreamer last week? There was no doubt then and there is no doubt now that I will defeat CM Punk.
You know what Punk, speaking of names, I was always curious about yours. What does CM stand for? Chick Master? No, not that. Chases Men? Thats getting warmer. How about Cookie Monster, Common Man, Completely Miserable. And Punk, what is a punk? Its a disrespectful little kid with tattoos that doesnt know his place.

You cant come here to confront me because this is a press conference, not a wrestling match, so if thats what youre thinking, I have to disappoint you because Im not going to lay a finger on you until I beat you at the Bash.

This past week at the Great American Bash I proved it when I beat CM Punk and retained the ECW Championship. You see Punk, some are born to sweet delight and some are born to endless night.
CM Punk will never get another shot at the new face of extreme. Me. John Morrison. Its time for me to move onwards and upwards. A true champion doesnt fight the same guy over and over again.
A true champion fights all comers and Im a fighting Champion. To prove this point, Im going to give some one their 15 minutes of fame. If someone can last 15 minutes in the ring or somehow beat me in 15 minutes, then they earn a future title shot.
I know I have a tag team match later, but Im a fighting champion. Backstage I ran into an athlete that intimidated me. Someone I thought deserved a shot, and he happens to be from right here in Fresno. Lets meet him.
A local jobber makes his way to the ring.

PINK HAIRED PERSPECTIVE:
~Ok, I didnt think it was possible but the Miz/Extreme Expose was worse than anything Ive witnessed on ECW in a long time. It was awful and I was seconds away from clawing my eyes out if it went on any longer.
Pink Haired Perspective's review. Oh my What did Nunzio do for that? And it looks like they are starting to feature more actual wrestling. Finally.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE will be expanding the ECW roster by calling up some developmental talent.that they can misuse and ruin beofre they even get to one of the bigger programmes.
It also worries me that this is where the NEW Hart Foundation will appear first too.
The New Hart Foundation are scheduled to appear on SD.
I have no problem with new talent being brought up to the ECW show. It was what the show was being going to be used for anyway. Benoit was going to act as the veteran to help the new talent before his death.
It will certainly liven up the show as opposed to the same five or six people wrestling each week.

OVERALL: Wow. Im not sure how many people expected this, but I was not one of them. Im not sure where this going, but I cant imagine Chavo will hold the belt for too long.
Other than a disappointing title change this was another lackluster show. Benjamin getting the impressive win in the battle royal match made sense and gives him some momentum going into the Rumble. Hopefully he actually gets a chance to shine in the match and is apart of the final four or five. If he gets in the match and is eliminated ten minutes later all that build becomes pointless.
Kingstons debut was not good. He had a couple botched moves that probably werent all of his fault and his offense is different, but kind of hokey. A two-legged leg drop looked kind of cheesy, but thats me. The crowd responded to him though and thats a big plus.
The Colin saga continued and its relatively entertaining, but starting to wear thin. They really need to move it into another gear soon if thats the plan.
In the end the big news is we have a new ECW champion.
So a new champ in Chavo. I can only hope that they are moving Punk to SD! for a fued with Edge to go through post Rumble/Mania...
- Don't believe the CM Punk doghouse rumors. The person that disliked Punk the most has recently been fired -- that person being writer Dave Lagana, who was responsible for Chavo Guerrero's push to the ECW title. Lagana was also the one person pushing for John Morrison to go over on Punk. Dusty Rhodes is a big fan of Punk and Michael Hayes has been trying toget him on Smackdown.
- Michael Hayes has taken on a lot more responsibility as of late andhas become one of the most powerful agents in the WWE. He can always befound at the local hotel's bar or at HQ. Hayes is now on-call 24/7 and has a lot of influence over plans & pushes. In addition, with Lagana out, Ed Koskey is doing the writing on the ECW side, with Rhodes continuing to offer ideas. However, with ECW and Smackdown working together, Hayes will be deciding the main direction of both shows.
Last nights ECW results, does this show get any worse?

Delaney goes for a backslide, but Miz slides out and hits a clothesline. He drives some elbows into Colins shoulder then puts on an armbar variation. He gets to his feet, but Miz drives him into the turnbuckle and hits a jawbreaker. Morrison gets a tag and comes off with a springboard spin kick.
-Morrison hits a running boot to Delaney who was down on his knees and he rolls to the apron. Miz gets in a couple cheap shots and Morrison moves in on him. He slips away from John and makes the tag to Tommy. Dreamer hits a back body drop and a catapult sending Morrison into the turnbuckle. -Palumbo comes to ringside. Tazz wonders why hes here. Joey says their scheduled to go one-on-one on Smackdown this Friday.
KANE VS. JAMES CURTIS
-As the match starts Palumbo keeps revving his engine. It doesnt matter to Kane who pounds the crap out of Curtis and hits him with a chokeslam about 30 seconds in that gets the win.
***Kane wins a squash in :30.
-The Raw Rebound greets us after the commercial break. Its the MMA battle between Hill and Big Show. Even in highlight package form they couldnt fix this terrible, awkward segment. Ill give them some credit and say they made it look a little more interesting.
-Tazz thinks Floyds boxing career may be in jeopardy. Joey says Estrada made a tag title match for next week between Delaney/Dreamer and Miz/Morrison. With extreme rules!
-They send it backstage to an interview with CM Punk. What, a backstage interview on ECW? Punk thinks Chavo is scared and hiding behind Vickie. He says he woke Chavo up by throwing him in the Gulf. He says you have to earn being champion and Chavo didnt earn it. Tonight hell earn it for a 2nd time.
-Chavo is on his way out after the break.
-Punk comes out next and its time for the main event.
CHAVO GUERRERO JR. VS. CM PUNK- ECW TITLE MATCH

***Chavo retains the belt in 16:00. (**1/2).
Overall: The main event saved this show from being awful, and brought it up to mediocre.
I mentioned in my coverage as the show was moving along that I thought that with the way the show was moving Punk was going to win the belt. I edited it for time purposes to those who want to just read a recap, but wanted to mention it again here, because I didn't want to get called out by anyone thinking i'm trying to cover my ass.
It made little sense for Punk to win the belt tonight as I mentioned, but the way the show was moving made it seemed like it could happen, with Mania being Chavos rematch. They were putting what appeared to be a throw away show, which led me to the thought of them banking on Punk winning the belt as the only thing that mattered. Plus they were going to get 15+ minutes, which would seem to lead away from a screw job finish.
Once Punks leg got hurt when he was thrown to the outside though it became clear it wasnt to be. Now Punk has his out and reason for a rematch is how theyll move with it Id imagine. The saga continues.
Im not sure why theyd have Benjamin go over on Richards so soon, but Benji needs the boost and Im guessing thats the reason why. It hurts Richards though who could be a serviceable guy in the title picture. It doesnt make a ton of sense to me. I guess when your roster is thin enough, you only have so many choices. Hopefully this isnt a one time match and the beginning of a feud.
It was relatively obvious that Dreamer & Delaney wouldnt be winning the tag titles tonight so the way they went with it was fine. Now itll be an extreme rules title match next week, which heightens the level of the feuds intensity.
Its a real waste of time to bring the making of a Smackdown feud to ECW. Especially one with Palumbo.
Whose review is that? Must be a real smark because the reviews on WO.com and PWInsider are much more positive - going as far to say that this was the best Punk vs Chavo match so far.
I want Punk to be in the M.I.T.B match this year. I think he's progressed about as much as he can in ECW. They should throw him into the Smackdown mix. Give him a nice U.S title reign then see about having him in the main event picture by this time next year.
Trashing a hotel bathroom is a bit different than having a steroid stash made public during a time when the company is under scrutiny for their Wellness Policy.
Former TNA star Wildcat Chris Harris debuted on ECW last night as Braden Walker. A couple of interesting blunders from the smarks who review the ECW show on F4Wonline:
No 1:
Teddy Long is backstage with Tiffany. Tiffany says she has an idea for next week, but Armando Estrada interrupts. He wants his job back, but first, he has to beat ECW's newest acquisition: Braden Walker. I have no idea who this guy is (he's not on FCW's website), but he looks like the fat love child of Chuck Palumbo and Chris Harris.
Maybe because he is Chris Harris?
No 2:
Backstage, Armando Estrada asked for his job back. I must have dreamt that horrible match between him and Atlas Ortiz last week then. Long gave Estrada another chance to get an ECW contract if he defeated Braden Walker. Walkers first promo on WWE television came in the form of a knock-knock joke. You may know Walker better as TNAs James Storm.
Braden Walker v. Armando Estrada
I do not watch TNA because of the horrible reviews their product gets, so this is my first chance to ever see Storm/Walker wrestle. Hes reputed to be pretty good in spite of whatever absurd booking obstacles he had to overcome in TNA.
