I hope you guys beat Boro you have a fair old chance. Boro would be a tricking game as they can always cause an upset against the bigger clubs (Chelsea in Premiership).
I don't I like to see an Underdog there in the final or Spurs (Same thing really). I remeber growing up watching Spurs in the final every year and it just doesn't seem the same...
Also, with the Underdog in there a) you never know what will happen and b) another English team in Europe!
Well the last underdogs 'West Ham' last years put on a good show but the side before that Millwall got a 3-0 beating by Man Utd they can swing both ways. Either way i hope we reach the final.
I would love a United/Spurs final as I have many United fan mates and since moving to Manc have warmed to them as they have a good chance of stopping Chelski from dominating the league. Actually after Saturday, I really want a Watford/Spurs final.
Or indeed a Watford/Blackburn final would be one of the dullest FA Cup finals in history and the first in the new Wembley Stadium. You see we were better then Boro on the day we should of gone through. Ok i don't realisticly believe we would of beat Man Utd but would of been nice.
Im excited about the Cup final, its going to be a great game. Sad Gary will be missing for the match but i hope Giggs will lead us to yet another Double. Only a couple of days now! Chelsea will have a pretty strong team though im sure Mourinho was joking about Hilario being used as a striker if push comes to shove! Cant wait for the final.
I guess Carlito, Benoit and any other Man U fans here are not too happy about the game yesterday. I didn't watch it, but I heard it wasn't very good. Not like last seasons final with West Ham and Liverpool which was the best final for many years

My home team, Huddersfield Town, had a great win in the third round, knocking out Birmingham City, and were hoping for either a big team to bring in the money (Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea etc) or a small team that they could beat relatively easily to progress (Mansfield, Havant & Waterlooville). Unfortunately they drew neither, and will probably lose to Oldham.
To be honest I'd prefer an all championship final. David/Goliath happened in 2004 and it was poor. United and Chelsea crashing would be awesome. Not a jealousy thing, I'd just love to see 22 players all playing the game of thier lives in what was the best cup competion in the World. A game like that could restore that status.
United are out.Stunned..We had all the chances and could have won by 4 or 5.Time to sell Saha Fergie, injured once again without touching a ball, the lad just isnt cut out for a top class side and needs to be sold, probably get only 2 million at best for him though.Fergie has made a fatal mistake in not buying a striker who will score goals, this could be our undoing because after seeing the game,we desperatly needed someone and Rooney no longer has a scoring touch.Awful by congrats to pompy!
Ive never seen a game where a team had so many chances but failed to score. I don't think Rio will be changing position anytime soon either.
So the trebles off then... Is this start of Man Us decline this season? Or is it just a ploy so they can concentrate on Champions League and the Premiership?
Not just missed chances Dark M but some horrific misses,Carricks miss was unbeliveable and how did rooney not score one on one with the goalie? Just a dreadful day and to top it off,Thomas will be banned for a few games and Edwin will be out for a while leaving us with a half fit goalie in Ben Foster as our keeper...Not a good day but at least we will see a different final this year but no doubt chelsea will win it.
DM I think the Rio comment is unfair. He only had to deal with the penalty and as they said it would be unlikely a real keeper would save that. Carrick's miss was down to luck, it could have bounced anywhere, all he could to was try and reach it and Distin was fortunate it hit his standing leg. Rooney maybe overplayed it but Tevez only had to avoid Glen Johnson's head (considering he was arrested for stealing a toilet seat should be easy enough) and planted it right on his spam! I think all you Man U fans just need to put it down as "one of those days".
Stunning! Cant believe the results..But its going to be great to see a couple of teams who dont usually challenge for trophies go at it in the final, lets hope Barnsley make it as they have beaten 2 of not only englands but europes best sides in the last 2 rounds! Incredible. As a man utd fan i feel a little better now ^-^..
