Ok so I was thinking to myself how does one do justice to a cover version? and how many covers that have been releaced equel or better the original track?
I came up with these
Machine Head's cover of "Message in a bottle" by the police Foo Fighters' cover of "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty Bowling for Soup's Cover of "I Ran" by A Flock of Seagulls A1's cover of "Take on Me" by A-ha Sugababes' cover of "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" by Arctic Monkeys (The Guitaring is heavyer believe it or not :s) Metallica's cover of "So What" by the Anti Nowhere League

That Leatherface cover of "Message in a Bottle" What Genre is it?
It does make sence to a degree. Seeing as in flames are classed as Melodic Death metal. I'm guessing like Melodic light/intermidate riffing in the verses with actual singing then in the chorus Heavy riffage with screaming vocals. it's ok but it gets just as predictable as the main Genre.
