Well we seem to cover everything else reality based so here we are American Idol.  Gotta say Im shocked to see Cat Deeley presenting Ryan Seacrest is a legend and why do they need Cat?

No there on that in the studio thingy they do for waht seems like forever to get down to the final 12.

Haven't watched myself properly for a few weeks either.  Im out most Fridays now and keep forgetting to Sky + it.

Apparently it's to get more people to watch if they see a familiar face, that said, I totally, completely 100% agree with your statement. Seacrest is a ****ing legend.

What is the insistance of having to do the 'big note' in every single performance? And is it me or were the boys crap on the whole.

And why does Simon have to get so much stick about his comments? 9 times out of 10 he's bang on the money.

You're talking about Sundance, right? I agree, he seems to be getting worse as the show goes on. Will he be this season's Scott Savol??

The guys overall have been boring this season....IMHO.

Well all for nought, Antonella is gone and so is Sundance who they are now saying was the best in the contest...?!?! The same guy who barely made it through not so long ago? Weird.

The guys & Girls areally forgettable this year, I can't pick a winner they are all so Meh!

Those naughty pics - the first lot I believe are her up to the wet t-shirt shots. The sex ones I don't think are her , ratehr some looka-alike they always dig up in these instances. All I will say that as hot as she was, she had a conceited attitude and her voice was weak so she lasted longer than she should have.

With the guys, that Indian guy Sanjaya (Sp?) should not be anywhere near the top 100 let alone the top 12. He is useless. Not only does he look and dance like a girl he sing slike one too. His voice is weak and has no melody to it. How he survived I have no idea.

I personally think that humble black girl (Melinda or Melissa) will win. She has a cracking voice and can perform too. I don't rate any of the guys except maybe the fat guy with the curly mop on his head.

And can someone tell me what the hell those Cat Deeley segments are for? Apart from waste time and make the show drag on for longer that already is? Ugh!

I thought he was one of the better male singers at the start but he seemed to lose some steam as the contest progressed.

Rather tragically, there is a campaign in the US to vote for the useless and annoying Sanjiya because everyone hates him and they think it would be funny to see him defy the judges negativity towards him. Howard Stern has championed this movement. Damn him!

Rather incredulously, Melinda got voted off last week. Yup, the best and most consistant singer and performer is voted off when she should have won it. America just don't get how voting works do they? First Bush now this...

The final two are the beat box guy who should have weeks ago and the only other decent singer left in the game who should win now.

I finaly caught last weeks episode and to say I was shocked would be a major understatement. Surely Cowell's already signed her.

Then I discovered this LOT and they seem to be behind these things although they try and pin it on Howard Stern and a vote rigging investigation.

Rueben was the (undeserving) winner of Idol 2. Kelly Clarkson won the 1st won.

I'm glad out of the two Jordin won but Melinda really shold have won it. When she sang with whoever it was (one of these acts only the Yanks know) she was the better singer than them!

I hope next season they dump Cat Deeley from the UK version. What an UTTER waste of time and energy her segments were.
