The first picture the light was a distant source and I wanted to make it appear darker which I think worked well, the shadow also looks good.
The next two pictures have the same light source but I increased its intensity. I changed the rendering setting between the two pictures and the third took much longer to render than the second, but I don't see any difference in the actual picture quality.
You may also notice for a change the picture doesn't have a hot girl in them
Yes the two shadow was because I used two spotlights, I originally used a distant light source but the shadows on her body went all weird, swapped to spotlights and they were fine.
As for the characters I'll have made one just for you lee
Thank you Eve, very um.....different.... Seriously, she may not be my type but kudos to a well designed image. The detail is amazing and it should give you some greater scope for creating a variety of characters should you take this hobby or yours further.
And yes I noticed the dreaded navel accessory too...
Nice background choice there. And I like the detail of her outfit, especially the laces of shoes going around her legs. The various positions of the dog are well done too.
I just hope this story isn't going where I think it's going...
Nope it's not going where you think it is, you have a dirty mind
Actually I just did them as tests for a different background and different lighting, instead of spot lights they are using a distant light source. I just decided to do a girl and dog to see how the shadows reacted with their totally different shaped bodies.
Here are some more pictures I have just made and look whats on TV!
A note to all the poeple not in the 500 club, I will start posting only teasers in this thread now and the more explicit pictures are for people in the 500 club.
Argh thats not fair. I suppose Im going to have to really work at getting into the 500 club then. Good job Nymvette very nice I like this lady in pink. She not based on the girl in your sig is she?
What do you mean Posterised effect? if you mean the cartoon style of rendering the pictures rather than my normal 3D style then yes, just read the text I posted with the pictures to see.
When you posterise a picture you are making the colours look flat and they have a strangle "fuzzy" veneer about them.
It's like if you compress a large JPEG picture in order to make it load quicker, the colour pallete is reduced and you lose a lot of the quality and defnintion of the picture.
Yes the effects in that picture were on purpose, it a different way of rendering the picture called cartoon style. It doesn't look as good as the standard 3D rendering but I thought I'd give it a try.
I have now posted the full set of my yiffy series in the 500 club.
Here is the first of a new set called police that I am still creating at the moment, what I have made so far is going to be posted in the 500 club very shortly with more coming as I create them.
Typical MiB, I ask for opinions on my two characters and you cause trouble not only by posting a third option but you also post a picture yet again without asking permission! It's like your doing it on purpose just to be punished
I have only just noticed - i haven't been around here long, so I haven't trawled through the paged of the 'show me a pic' thread yet. All I can see is the mass of pics Symphony posts lol
I didn't mean to sound like a pervert or anything, it's just you don't see that many attractive (at least on the outside) girls on forums. Nice to see a cute girl who likes to do computer gfx. Breath of fresh air lol

Don't worry MiB, that series was just a tester for those characters and some poses. I'm not making anymore of that particualr one, so not going where your thinking.
I have tried something a little different with this next picture and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
OK using the jag from the previous pictures I posted as a base I then used a picture editing program to change some stuff, then using some new things I have recently learnt about the Daz3D that I can do I have made a new character.
As this has so much stuff customised by me it is probably one of the most original ones I have made so far.
But there was one thing I couldn't decide on so I made two versions of the character for people to comment on.
