Oh well, i wont bother Dark M anymore, its not fair to keep asking him to change it though i swear i clearly wrote TOTORO in both my pms to him about my name change!
I rememeber from before but thanks Mib! Havent been in the mood for much wrestling these days so im likely going to tape the show and watch it at a later date.
Thanks Glowlad (btw if you dont know,i was benoit101 but..well you know the story about chris..so i had to change).Shes lovely and i hope to see her in action when im in japan soon.I cant wait to see some more Joshi.Im even going to try ask Yuki Miyazaki to Marry me in japanese hehe.I am going to try get some pics and show some on here so look forward to those :).
Good luck with the future marriage! Wow it would be great to be married to a Joshi wrestler...should I propose to Mariko Yoshida...or Cherry...or Sakura Hirota...decisions decisions! Maybe Ill goo Mormon and marry all three!
Of course, Id still have to find time for a passionate affair with Aki Hoshino...
man it would be cool to marry a joshi girl! But we would have to remember not to make them angry Glowlad! While i like Cherry,Sakura and Mariko, i have a total crush on Ms Miyazaki and Kyoko Kimura, but i remember hearing that Kyoko actually has a daughter which made my heart sink..Still I am going to stalk Yuki when im there and force my love to her ^-^.Nah..most likely im going to go all shy as i usually do around girls and smile, and say Aishteru...maybe!
If she wanted to, i bet she could have broken your hand Glowlad!Carlos is one scary lady, but probably a lovely one to when she wants to be!I really hope to see Tanny mouse this time around, she is a real cutie and looks like one of the nicest joshi girls ever.
Believe me, im the same as you Glowlad! Most of the girls in Joshi probably dont have time for guys, but i think Kyoko Kimura has someone in her life (as i mentioned she has a daughter from what i read about from a joshi forum) and a couple of the girls are married or attatched no doubt. As long as Yuki Miyazaki and Tanny mouse are free,im happy ^-^.I wouldnt mind being maried to Aja Kong or Devil actually Mib,you know you would be quite safe with them around! I bet the pair of them are tame as anything when not in the ring mind,Aja espicially has a fantastic sense of humour from watching her on game shows and reading her blog page in japan.
I would say that my No 1 pick for a Joshi wife would Sakura Hirota for her sense of humour and because she's so cuddly, followed by Manami Toyota who would I imagine would be a very graceful person to be with.
Id love to know if Manami and Sakura where attatched to someone. Its highley probable that they are which is heartbreaking! But ones who id love to spend time with are of course Yuki and Tanny (yuki for her warm charm, cuteness and fun nature, Tanny for her similar characteristics and Yoshik Tamura who is Kokkoi, cool.
Yeah, Sakura Hirota would be perfect marriage material, she is cute, funny, perfect really. But I still want a passionate affair with Mariko Yoshida, and the ocassional lustful glance at Cherry.
Mariko Yoshida would be great but shes to unlady like for me,far to tough and strong to find attractive though saying that i really love Meiko Satomura who is just as strong a girl! Meiko has that really cute short hair style and the pretty face which is really adoreable.Every Joshi girl has their own unique qualities and thats what makes them attractive, the WWE divas have nothing on them, everyone being a generic blond, talentless bimbo.
Mariko's has a lovely build, and that outfit she wears really shows off her amazing physique. Plus I see her as a tomboy, and tomboys are great. Bu thats the beauty of life we all have our own different likes, some people support City, some United.
Cherry is looking pretty buff lately too, I reckon she is trying to toughen up so she can prove the hardcore Joshi fans wrong. She'll could yet be one of Joshi's big stars...she has the look, she now has the strength, hope she can lift her technical skills up a notch, then she is in business.
Could you give me more info on Yuki Miyazaki? I dont think Ive seen her much...but she is kirei desu ne...
I will gladly share anything with you Glowlad, but about miss Miyazaki..im afraid i cannot, she is mine ^-^!! Nah shes a very good wrestler,a big girl, but not overly large, has teamed with Tanny mouse many times and held the Ironman title a couple of years back (which was defended like a WWE hardcore title,i watched a match recently where she and tanny were doing a promo thing in front of a camara and a girl bashed her in the head with a bucket and pinned her in the locker room! She then chased after her to try win it back!),she is quite a comedy wrestler but can wrestler serious style to.Very very cute and adoreable character Yuki is and she is the one joshi star i must must must see again ^-^.Cherry im not so keen on,though she is very sweet,i have a picture of her butt from a Joshi website close up and shows her pink thong, for you and my pleasure Glowlad, here you go ^_^...
WOW! I was looking at your message, before I got to the bit about Cherry, I saw that photo, and thought, Id know that butt anywhere...any idea what site it was, could be worth keeping an eye on! Many thanks for posting it!
So Im right in thinking youve had a conversation with Yuki before? How did it go? I know when I was saying a few words to the Joshi ladies it was like an out of body experience, it was surreal to actually be in Japan, talking with these amazing women. Just once though I wish I hadnt come across as a stupid Gaijin. I noticed some fans gave their fave wrestlers gifts, maybe I should get something for if and when I get back there.
There is a good Joshi site but i cant remember its link and i have to go through 10000s of my faverate sites but ill try find it! Its juat a discussion forum actually but some of the guys post some rare pictures of Joshi girls so its quite cool.Ill link it here when i find it Glowlad.Cherry has an awesome butt but..i dont know,im not keen on "thongs" and for Japanese girls to wear them isnt natural for me anyway, its just to sexy,im not keen on that,if it makes sense,i love girls to look classy and look just quite normally nice.Thats why i love the likes of Yuki, Tanny and yoshiko, they look stunning without the need for the revealling outfits :).Im probably one of the only guys who thinks that but i love to see their personality shine through more,Cherry while quite attractive, doesnt seem to have much charisma or personality that shines through in the ring like a lot of others from the matches iv seen.
Yuki was very pleasent, very sweet,an awesome girl and i hope she remembers me,cant speak a word of english most of the girls but they dont think we are silly, well i would hope anyway! Unfortunatly,i couldnt go near them myself,i had to go with my friends, because i am horrendously shy as a person so the words i stuttered were awful japanese.Next time i will try better, maybe ill buy some english things to give some of the girls ^-^! ah..i cant wait to see them again.I am in love with Yuki (of course my girlfriend is number one hehe) so i really hope to see her again!
Don't worry about searching though all those sites, just if you happen to remember it let me know.
On various blogs Ive seen a handful of picks like that Cherry one, I think its a bit of a joke among the Joshi ladies, bending over showing their butts! Im not complaining! I have a cool one of Ayumi Kurihara somewhere. She is kawaii too.
I know what you mean about liking unconventional women, in GLOW I generally ignored the usual pin-up types and loved the women with charisma...in Japan...well, the thing is I reckon the average looking Japanese girl is a lot prettier than the average looking British girl. Of course there are plenty of beautiful Brits, but Im talking in general. I think most women from Japan, China, Korea...are attractive, whether they are wrestlers or not. I think you probably agree!
Thats the link to the Joshi forums, quite a few knowladagable guys there who know far more then i and most of us will ever know! Havent posted for a long while so i will do that when i can.Its great the Joshi girls like to have fun, thats why they are so cute, they can be deadly serious in the ring, yet outside of it,they are a great, fun and lovely group of girls. They seem much more fan freindly then those god awful wwe divas, and they actually have passion for wrestling and putting on a good show for the fans rather then just turning up and stripping for the crowd. Id love to see that Ayumi Kurihara pic ^-^! Theres many blogs of Joshi wrestlers in japan that iv seen, just wish we could understand them!
Its nice you think the same Glowlad. You know in Glow,i actually liked Mt Fiji the most! She had something about her i found attractive,i dont base it on looks but she had a warmth and appeal about her.Couldnt stand California doll at all. In WOW (women of wrestling) there was a beautiful hawain wrestler called Boom Boom, who was utterly gorgeous! I wonder what she does these days. She was again a quite big girl, but she was very sweet, attractive and one of the better talents in a promotion which was kinda silly.
I think Japanese,Koreans,Chinese,Thai and Haiwian girls are the most beautiful in the planet and in my experiances, the nicest and friendliest to.So yep,im the same Glow lad ^-^,as you can tell i can go on and on and on about them!
I have to confess that I'm not too familiar with the ladies you guys are tlaking about as I tend to stick with Sendai and OZ Academy shows (although they are the ones who feature more regulalry on the torrent site I use).
I did see a JD Starr show once and frankly it was dreaadful which put me off from watching more. At least I know that with OZ and Sendai I am getting a quality show with the likes of former GAEA alumni Meiko Satomura, Chikaya Nagashima, Aja Kong, Dynamite Kansai, etc all competing.
I think I have a NEO Ladies show somewhere. Perhaps I should dig it out...
Totoro, yeah in GLOW, take Attache for example, absolutely not the traditional pin-up type but funny, charismatic, fun to watch. I prefered Little Fiji to Mt Fiji though.
MiB, I saw both OZ Academy and Jd Star in Japan...Oz Academy was certainly a level above JD Star, and it contained many old familiar faces from Gaea, so for a serious wrestling show, Id choose OZ Academy every time.
The cool thing about Jd star...it was a decent enough show, I was in the front row, so close to the action, and after the show it was so easy to mingle with the wrestlers, as all of them, after their matches would man tables, selling autographs, DVD, T-shirts...I loved the accesability. OZ Academy post-show was much more hectic. So as an overall package I enjoyed the shows equally...after JD Star I came away with an armful of DVD's and autographs....
I dont mind J'D myself Mib but as you said, its not of the highest quality.Neo has been my faverate for a while, due to its mix of great Humour and its good, solid matches it produces (though Kyoko Inoue always seems to go over in every match, being that she is the boss). At the moment im watching some Ibuki, which has Kyoko Kimura against Mariko Yoshida in a 2 out of 3 falls match up,the 2 are having quite a fued in joshi this year so its going to be great to watch more of their matches.
I doubt anyone has watched this but does anyone remember WOW? here is a link to its old site,i cant seem to link it on my posts so youll have to copy and paste it! http://www.wowe.com/ Iv many a show of this and it was pretty darn cheesy, sort of a modern day version of GLOW. Boom Boom is perhaps the most naturally beautiful (non asian!) girl iv ever seen in a wrestling ring, check some WOWE on Youtube and im sure youll find a good few matches on there.
I miss Boom Boom...She was lovely ^-^.The character of Jaqyln Hyde was quite funny, those cheesy entrance videos sure raised a laugh,iv read about a few of the girls and most of them are into modelling or normal Jobs these days.
Nice one Glowlad! They sure have cute butts! Its surprising how small many of the Joshi girls are, when meeting Yuki and some of the others, they always came up to my shoulders or even smaller, yet you just know if you really do something to bug them, they could easily beat the hell out of you! Boom boom was a true stunner, she always got pinned though.A match i watch often with her is against that god awful slam dunk, poor Boom Boom had to bounce all over the place for her since she couldnt do a darn thing right in the Ring.
Yeah the height thing is another thing I love about Japan...Im only about 5'8, short for England, but in Japan average...even someone like Mariko is a good deal shorter than me I think.
Its strange that Boom Boom, who was powerfuly built, was jobbed out like she was...even Jacklyn Hyde pinned her. David Mclane, the man behind GLOW, POWW, and WOW, always made odd booking drcisions, jobbing out some of the more talented girls in favour of girls whose faces fit better.
Im around the same height as you Glowlad and its quite funny just to stroll around many places there and be able to look taller then we are here in england :).Yuki Miyazaki was tiny when i saw her,i really wanted to pick her up and put her in my pocket, ditto tanny mouse ^^.Japanese are so cute, but one of my Japanese girl friends is actually the same height as me! So there is some taller girls.Dynamite Kansai is one of the taller joshi stars and i shook hands with her,she is really really strong but has a warm smile, very pretty face i think she has.
WOW was a pretty fun promotion, and in fact, the better wrestlers were actually pushed more in the promotion while all the pretty girls seemed to get battered every time. Selina Majors (or bambi as she was known in LPWA),Terri Gold,Thug and Riot were often victorious and having the major fueds in the promotion and none of them are truly model like girls.I kind of miss a cheesy womens promotion like that,Shimmer is far to serious and most Joshi promotions to, it would be cool to see another GLOW/WOW 2007 which is family orientated, cheesy and full of talented but fun womens wrestlers.
Im actually considering applying for an English teaching job in Japan. Well, I dont think I would get it but its worth a try.
Somehow I felt less shy in Japan, because Japanese people might put my awkwardness down to communication problems, I felt more able to communicate, speak with strangers than in England, its hard to describe. Ideally I do teach somewhere like Sendai...cooler in temperature than Tokyo, big city, still accessable to Tokyo for weekend wrestling trips, with its own resident Joshi scene too. But this is a distant dream. Oh and thanks for the link to the Joshi site, there are some amazing Cherry pics there!
Im exactely in the same boat as you Glowlad,i really want to work there but until then im just going to keep going there every year on 3 month trips with my friends who always kindly let me stay,i would stay with my gf but she lives currently in a girls only dorm in college so i cant!
I understand you perfectly, being that im a really shy person,to be honest,i dont even have a good friend in england, all my friends are all over in japan, because of some personal trouble over the last 10 years in my life,i have no longer any reason to live in england,Japanese have always been kind to me and i feel more comfident there to,a reason i love japan is because its such a friendly and gentle country with great people, but england..well lets just say its never been very good to me so i really want to get out as soon as i can ^-^.Gambatte Glow lad.
I will stay in Chiba,Tokyo and Saitama next time, and hope to take in 2 or 3 joshi shows with the view on meeting some of the stars so im going to buy the best seats available everytime ^_^!
It's interesting that you guys speak so highly of how polite and friendy the Japanese are when I've read on other forums from people who have been persecuted and ostracised for being a gaijin by the Japanese people.
I assume this is perhaps a localised thing exclusive to certain areas of Japan?
Probably a localised thing that Mib,iv been a few times now and all i have is nothing but praise for the Japanese people, everyone i met was kind and warm even in the shops when i asked for somethings, even i couldnt speak a word of Japanese, they would let me show them where it was and smiled and helped me.Of course no place is perfect and no doubt Japan has its fair share of rude and not so kind people but iv been fortunate to be sorrounded by good people willing to help and assist me,heck, even a bunch of 15 year old boys came over to me and played football together, about 8 of them and we had a blast, even trying to help my Japanese! If it was england,no doubt they would have stolen my ball at that age.Mostly the older generation have a kind of nervousness towards Gajins as my friends said. But iv never had a problem ^-^.Certainly iv been treated far kinder there then in england ever.
Midget? I prefer the term 'vertically challenged'! Although, as I get older Im increasingly horzontally challenged, and folically challenged too!
About Japan, I did meet one or two rude people, a waitress in my hotel for example was rather rude, laughingbwith her clkeagues about my bad Japanese. But there were many kind moments...an old lady who offered me shelter under her umbrella as I walked in the rain...a man who went outvof his way to direct me to the place I was looking for, accompanying me there...the guy who had my Joshi tickets, who went out of his way to have Cherry sign the Ibuki DVD for me...all little things, but heartwarming, and they meant a lot. Honestly, to arrive back at Heathrow felt like sinking back in time 50 years.
Thanks Mib,iv wrote quite a long piece about my experiances in japan so hopefully its intresting but im not to comfident about it.Anyway back on topic again,im going to watch a NEO show for sure.Im going to try take a lot of pictures if possible and post here :).
I took loads of in-ring pics, but I had a disposable camera with a wrong kind of flash, and most of yhem were too dark to see anything. Wish Id pluckedvup couragecto take photos of them while I was buying stuff, which is the best time.
Im going to attempt to get my picture taken with a couple of girls, ill ask my friend to ask them though! Im sure they wouldnt mind, and ill be buying quite a few goods when im there of Joshi.I really want those miniture figurines (which are similar to those footie ones we get here in england, those small, big headed things),theres many such as Aja Kong, Kyoko Inoue,Manami toyota ect so i really want to collect some of those. The merchandise i have is mainly DVDS (Over 200 joshi ^-^),video games, some tshirts, books and magazines and posters.I want more ^-^!!
I hate to seemyself in photos, so I dont think Id ask to have my photo taken with them! Ah well!
Im vastly envious of Totoro's collection....I have maybe 20 Joshi tapes, 2 DVD's, handful of autographs, handful of magazines...thats about it. Oh and some GLOW tapes but they dont count! I so wish I could go to Japan for three months at a time, hang out with a Japanese girlfriend, Totoro has got it made! Not that Im really really really jealous.
Im not rich at all guys.I live on a sickness benifit for quite a while now (i dont know anything about it as my family help me with that) and i save it every time for my trip to japan and such, and my mom always helps me find the cheapest deals on travelling so shes good with that. They never ask much from me because they know that going to Japan is my happiness ^-^, so they help me save for that. The other stuff i have, the joshi dvds,i buy in bulk lots, i havent bought any Joshi for a while now, but when i do,i spend about 80 quid on 25 dvds at a time so again,i just save all the time for them. Not rich at all, just i have a very good family who help me and try and do the best for me ^-^.
Im very lucky i think so though my family are curious as to why i love Joshi so much, my parents love old british wrestling and WWF from the early 90s but cant stand the new stuff or Joshi! So there you go.I dont mean to sound like i brag about it,i never hope to sound like that at all :) but honestly, travelling and Joshi are things i really have a passion for so when i want to save for these things i can ^-^.Dont worry,im not a leech on society when it comes to the benefit thing, unfortunatly,as fun as it sounds that i get to travel,i do have quite a lot of trouble with my health,so certainly i have a very blessed life but one that does have some trouble to,sorry to go off topic about that :).Back to Joshi, iv been watching some fun stuff from Neo, Yuki and tanny vs Ran Yu Yu and Toshie Ueematsu, fun match but i hate those lousy count out finish's!
Nah,its not Yellow fever Mib ^-^. Unfortunatly, its a little serious but i tend not to think about that, and try enjoy life as best i can,so being my passion is asian culture, its what i want to do and enjoy and talk about all the time while i forget about that. Its effected a lot of my life and things but i wont let it get me down! Honestly i have to say its nice to find a forum and decent people like you, Glowlad, dark M ect to discuss many things with, because iv never met to many nice people from england in my life ^-^ So arigatou! Haha, off topic terribly, forgive me!
