After splitting up in 1996 and guitarist Hide's suicide in 1998, the remaining members of the legendary X-Japan are planning to reunite for a tour.
Singer Toshi and drummer Yoshiki seem to be the instigators of this reunion and they are said to be "in talks" with bassist Heath and rhythm guitarist Pata about participating. It's also said that there will be 10 guitarists to fill in for Hide.
Not only is the tour planned that but a single is in the works to, a re-recording of "Without You" (originally a Yoshiki solo song).
Whether it is a good thing or not remains to be seen as it has been over 10 years since they last played together and of course they're down one key member. Historically, they were probably the biggest rock band ever in Japan sellling out the 70,000 seater Tokyo Dome many times.
