Talking of Motley Crue and L.A Guns have ya'll heard their off route band (Formerly containing Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue fame and Traci Gunns of L.A Guns fame) The Brides of Destruction?
Dude, Mr BIG own, Paul Gilbert is a fucking Legend and I've always digged that intro :D That's a nice selection of videos man as specially the Twisted Sister and W.A.S.P
No C0ck rock list would be complete without S.C.O.R.P.I.O.N.S - Rock you like a Hurricane
And a bit of Ronny James Dio - Rainbow in the Dark, Not so much C0ck Rock but just essential listening in my eyes
You, You...Posted Skid Row, I think I just Came in my pants. I <3 You M.I.B lol I'm a big Skid Row fan, I'm not too attatched to Johhny Solinger as Sabastian Bach was such an intence Singer.
But I take Your Whitesnake and Raise you.....
Bon Jovi - Living on a prayer (Gotta love Richie Sambora, and that Talkbox Action)
Bon Jovi - You Give Love a Bad Name
Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild (In the words of Johnny Soliger when I saw them Live "No matter how old we get, we will always be the YOUTH... GONE.... WILD!!!!" no truer a Centament ever spoken)
Skid Row - I Remember You (Blatant Sloppy Bollocks, blatantly one of the Better ballads of 80's/early 90's arena rock though)
Megadeth - No More Mr Nice Guy. Not known for their hair metal exploits, but this cover is just plain wank. I think it might have something to do with all the Smack he Dave was on back then... We can only hope...
Pantera - All Over Tonight Pantera before Phil Joined, I never though I'd say this but Damn, Pantera Sucked. and is it me or have the Dimebag Models gotten smaller or is it just me?
The Darkness - I believe in a thing called Love A bit of contempory Glam wank, honestly. what were the media thinking when they said that they were the second coming?
Those are some cool posts, just thinking though. we're going to run out of Hair Metal bands some time soon.
Shouldn't we make this like "That 80's thread" or something of the like and include other ludicris ganres famillier to the 80's such as Electro and Thrash and other assorted tidbits? just so people other than the 3 of us can get involved?
Took me a while to realize what you were on about. Then i opened the thread... Anyway I was always a Whitesnake and Danger Danger fan myself. If I can find Sailing SHips and Monkey Business I'll post them here.
The only problem with Danger Danger for me is that they were about 5 years too late. They arrived in 1992 when melodic hard rock was dead and grunge was en vogue. If they had released Monkey Business around '87 -'89 they would have been bigger even if it was just for a while.
