It was going to happen sooner or later, the rather popular and fairly decent string of computer games has been turned into a movie:
It stars Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 (He was the bad guy in Die Hard earlier this year) and also Dougray Scott.
The plot details are as follows:
A gun-for-hire known only as Agent 47 (Olyphant) is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe. hired by a group known as "The Agency" to kill targets for cash. Could be good, could be straight to DVD bad.... Released on Noivember 30th. All related chat and comments in here please...
I never actually played these games, but I always wanted to. I don't plan on seeing this movie in theatres, but I may check it out from Netflix when it comes out on DVD.

Bound to be awful. They've changed the whole premise of the games and having Olyphant in the lead role is an instant turn off. I can't believe they turned down David Bateson, the guy who was 47 in the games, to hire this fella as the film needed 'star power' when all it needed to do was appeal to the fans of the game who, by all accounts, should be the target audience.
