Just watched it on WWE.COM oh how we've missed him... But I can't help feeling that it was originally meant to be Jericho saving us from Cena's title reign....
The segment was quite anti-climactic to be honest. It's good to have Jericho back but it was just missing that something. Probably because it was such a long time coming or maybe because Orton is so charisma free he couldn't riff with Jericho. I dunno. It was just...meh!
well, you folks will be happy to know that i watched most of the raw broadcast, and actually enjoyed it a little. i was so looking forward to the return of jericho, but that was possibly the worst part of the show for me. it was so predictable when he would come back, and it's now so predictable that he will wrestle orton for the belt.
on a side note, the intro was pretty cool. i especially liked the "the riddle is the answer, the answer is the riddle" part. that was pretty original, and even though fans figured this "riddle" out weeks ago, it was still a decent intro.
on another side note, i'm excited for the future feud of kennedy and michaels. they are two of the better guys on the mic, and it should be interesting to see how they work together (well, against each other is a better term, i guess).

yeah, like i said, i think that the hbk/kennedy feud has some legs, and it's fresh...i just hope that they don't make it the "i'm gonna end this old guy's career" feud. i really like kennedy, and i think he has great things in store for him.
but how about jericho on the mic? i can only name one (maybe 2) people that are better than him in that aspect of pro wrestling: the rock (or austin)...kennedy could get there one day, but he's barely top ten now.

Jericho was great on the mic but the segment suffered from the fact that he couldn't riff with that black hole of charisma Randy Orton in the same way he could with someone like The Rock.
RAW drew a 3.5 rating by the way so despite the hype leading into Y2J's return it didn't effect the ratings one jot.
Y2J should have made his return on Smackdown instead of Raw. They need the talent, and he could have been entered into a fued with Edge, which would have provided both quality matches and excellent riffing (I rate Edge's mic skills almost as highly as Jericho's)
Yes but RAW is the flagship show and higher up the food chain then SD in the WWE's eyes. Plus with Cena out of the way they need a fresh babyface to challenge Orton. On SD they still have some mileage with Edge vs Taker and Edge vs DAVE.
how about everyone posts who they rank as the top 5 on the mic. these can be either current or recently retired guys. i am writing my list right now, and i'll post it as soon as im sure of myself. have fun with this.
