Good column. I think that how much TNA (or Dixie carter) values Angle over everyone else as well as the public credibility of her company will become clear after tonight's PPV.
If Kurt retains the TNA heavyweight title then we know she is prepared to continue brush Angle's DUI under the carpet and hope that - for once - TNA are seen as small fry and not worthy of the same media attention WWE would get. If Sting wins the title then maybe that is a sign that either the pressure is on Dixie Carter or maybe she has finally woken up to herself.
What strengthens Angle's position with TNA is that he has been given booking power so he can plea some kind of worth to the company. What would be interesting is if Angle was stripped of said privilege - would he stay with the company and take whatever push he is given or would he spit the dummy and give Vince another call? Or maybe even Antonio Inoki and his IGF promotion?
For all his faults, Vince McMahon showed Kurt Angle that he is not above the law so no-one would blame Dixie carter and TNA if they eventually did the same.
Well, I won't get into an argument about his 2007 awards but in the second column those stories of the rip offs are disgraceful. The Sherri Martel story in particular just beggars belief that there are people out there so immoral and scrupulous.
Oh the second link takes you to a megaclick page instead of the proper page.
