If true quality news for TNA...

Mike Johnson is reporting that the plan as of right now is for Booker T to be Sting's partner at Genesis against Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash.

Any idea who it could be? I thought that it was going to be Chris Jericho, but it looks as if he's going back to WWE. It has to be someone who has a history w/ Kurt Angle (and hates him), and is a multiple time World Champion in every company in the wrestling industry. The only other person that I think it could be is Ric Flair, but I'm pretty sure that he's still in WWE. I have no idea.

Yeah, i've been checking around some, and it seems as if the favorites are booker t and big show. i've also read ric flair, hulk hogan, bret hart, and many more. the only one that i can rule out is bret hart because he doesn't seem to have any connection with kurt angle, or really any of the guys other than sting.

I don't know what sites you visit but I'd avoid them if that's the crap their suggesting.

Bret is NEVER going to wrestle again; Flair is still signed to WWE; Hogan would want too much money plus he's hosting American Gladiators as well as trying to keep his son out of jail and Big Show is in semi-retirement for the time being.

Seriously, PWInsider.com and wrestlingobserver.com are the only sites to trust.

I merged the threads as they followed the same thread. So it was Booker T & Sharmell in the end. Nash looked absolutely awful in the match. Would have liked to see Bokker go over or even go into a programme with Angle, but it looks like we'll be seeing Kaz vs. Angle next. Do you reckon they'll carry on the angle with Angle and Sharmell in TNA???

I, for one, am tired of Sharmell. She's one of the worst managers of all time. Maybe we'll see a husband/wife feud with the Angles against Booker/Sharmell??

Tna really needs to stop hiring EX WWE stars and create its own company, with its own stars,i dont watch TNA to much apart from the womens division and even that isnt doing much for me right now.

I also agree that TNA should be more original. I loved it when they had guys like A.J. Styles and Ron Killings (who was in WWE, but really got his start in TNA) dominating. I hate when they keep bringing in all of these ex-WWE stars. There are so many young guys there that they could develop, and most of them are in the X-Division:

A.J. Styles
Alex Shelley
Jay Lethal
Chris Saban
Chris Daniels
Samoa Joe

This is just a very short list, but there are other guys that I would like to see more of as well. In my opinion, they do hi-flying better than the WWE, and I would love if they could refocus on the X-Division. I'm tired of all of these boring feuds between wrestlers that were washed up years ago (3D, Steiners, Sting, Nash, Hall, etc).

You're not the only one but Dixie Carter thinks that established WWE names = ratings and buyrates. It doesn't of course but when guys like Booker T get the superstar ovations like the one he got at Genesis then the validation is there (in TNA's minds anyway).

However, the Internet fans are a small portion of the wrestling audiences so the booker don't book to appease them. They book where they think the money is and how the TV ratings go (or who is shagging the boss's daughter).

Im fond of Christian, there were hints of main event talent in the WWE that he has been allowed to explore in TNA.

Big thumbs up for Gail Kim too, for obvious reasons.

ODB is pretty handy in the ring and despite lousing up her spots, Angel Williams seems to have more aptitude for wrestling than most of the WWE bimbos.
