Well there is one person who won't be at the PPV:

Junior Fatu is indeed gone from TNA, I believe over money issues in that he wanted more than the company wanted to pay. Fatu got a big reaction from the crowd and his in-ring work was decent, but I don't see this as any major loss for the company.

Nothing to do with Jim Cornette just becoming a father in real life then...

And the main event will see Nash, Hall & Samoa Joe vs the Angle Alliance (Angle, Styles & Tomko) - so basically Styles & Joe can carry the match while Tomko strokes his goatee, Kurt argues with his wife and Nash & Hall struggle top get their zimmer frames down the aisle...

Styles and Joe should, and will, carry this match, much as MiB said. They are two of the best young wrestlers out there, and I hope that TNA uses this opportunity to push them back toward the top of the company. I hate that A.J. is relocated to work as Angle's cronie, and I hate that Joe had a match with Robert Roode at Genesis. Both of these guys are better than that.

PWInsider.com:

TNA's Mobile text messaging service announced that the Turning Point PPV on 12/2 in Orlando will feature a "Feast or Fired" Battle Royal which will lead to a wrestler being "fired." Cue the Eric Young paranoid promos. The match will feature four briefcases, one in each corner with three of them containing title shots and the other featuring a pink slip.

Groan....

Seriously are they taking copious amounts of hallucenagenics when they get to work at the TNA creative dept.? Or maybe thats how they hire and fire people in TNA.

'Hi welcome to TNA head offices. What we'd like you to do is go into the next office and pick a brief case....

Mickey Mouse. Right you picked the 3rd Suitcase so you have won.... A 2 year run with the world title!!!

Edge your next... Oh sorry you just got the pink slip, you can leave now...'

etc. etc.

I assume Sting loses so he can sail off into the sunset.

Ok Prediction time...

TNA Turning Point - Sunday December 2, 2007 - iMPACT Zone, Orlando, FL

1. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Samoa Joe vs. Angle Alliance (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles & Tyson Tomko)
2. Booker T. & Kaz vs. Christian Cage & Robert Roode
3. Six Man Tag Team Tables Match: Team 3D (Brother Ray & Devon) & Johnny Devine vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) & Black Machismo Jay Lethal
4. Match of 10,000 Thumbtacks: Abyss & Rhyno vs. Black Reign & Rellik
5. TNA Women's Championship Match: Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong
6. Angelina Love & Velvet Sky vs. ODB & Roxxi Lavaugh
7. Feast Or Fired Match: 15 superstars will compete for shots at the TNA World Championships! Four cases will hang from corners in the ring - three will contain a shot at either the TNA World, Tag Team or X Division Championships. The fourth will contain a certificate informing whoever gets it that they are fired!

For match 7.  make sure you put who gets the three title shots and who is getting fired.

1. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Samoa Joe vs. Angle Alliance (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles & Tyson Tomko) - This is going to be a late runner for worst match of the year unless Joe carries his side of the team.

2. Booker T. & Kaz vs. Christian Cage & Robert Roode - Next main eventer and new boy losing this soon?  I don;'t think so

3. Six Man Tag Team Tables Match: Team 3D (Brother Ray & Devon) & Johnny Devine vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) & Black Machismo Jay Lethal - the Dudlyz rarely lose tables matches.

4. Match of 10,000 Thumbtacks: Abyss & Rhyno vs. Black Reign & Rellik - who cares...?

5. TNA Women's Championship Match: Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong - Im sure this is the popular choice

6. Angelina Love & Velvet Sky vs. ODB & Roxxi Lavaugh

7. Feast Or Fired Match:  Steiners get tag title, Christian world title, Chris Daniels X belt shot, Sting Fired

1. Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Samoa Joe vs. Angle Alliance - Tomko is injured and may be replaced by his IWGP Tag Title partner Giant Bernard (aka Albert from WWE)

2. Booker T. & Kaz vs. Christian Cage & Robert Roode - Unless Kaz jobs Booker T won't lose so soon.

3. Team 3D & Johnny Devine vs. The Motor City Machine Guns & Jay Lethal - 3D lost the last tables match and to the Guns last time

4. Abyss & Rhyno vs. Black Reign & Rellik - Yawwwwwwn!

5. Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong - Unless they DQ Kong of course....

6. Angelina Love & Velvet Sky vs. ODB & Roxxi Lavaugh - ODB has just signed a contract and is over with the fans.

7. Feast Or Fired Match: LAX - Tag Titles; Christopher Daniels - X Division; Scott Steiner - World title; Shark Boy - Fired

8. Eric Young vs James Storm

Results:

Team 3D & Johnny Devine def. Motor City Machine Guns & Jay Lethal

Velvet Sky & Angelina love def ODB & Roxxi Laveuax

Eric Young def James Storm

15 man "Feast or Fired" Battle Royale - The final four with the cases were Scott Steiner, Petey Williams, Senshi & BG James. the cases won't be opened until Impact this week. Groan...

Gail Kim def. Awesome Kong via DQ

Abyss & Raven def. Black Reign & Rellik (Rhino was supposedly injured)

Booker T & Kaz def Christian Cage & Robert Roode

Kevin Nash, Samoa Joe & Eric Young def Angle Alliance

Hall didn't show (food poisoning allegedly) and the whole show was based around Joe teasing a turn on Nash. He cut a "shoot" promo before the match about old guys holding the younger guys down then picked Eric Young from the back to be their partner.

When will TNA ever learn?

From the feedback on wo.com, Gail vs Kong was voted best match!

The suitcase thing seems like a complete shambles too. We have to wait to Impact...? WTF?

Anyway Here's hoping BG gets fired, Senshi gets the World title shot, Steiner the Tag shot and Williams gets the X Div.

Big news from behind the scenes (PWTorch.com:)

As reported, Scott Hall missed last night's show due to food poisoning. TNA had contact with him early in the day, and they could not reach him later on. Eventually he sent a text message saying he had food poisoning and he never came, although they held out hope that he would make it.

- Samoa Joe was asked to cut the promo last night in order to put the heat on Hall and then put over contracted talent, eventually to reveal Eric Young as the partner. Joe went much longer than scripted, and laid into Kevin Nash more than was expected, upsetting Nash, especially since Nash was a supporter of TNA signing Joe.

- During the interview, when Joe leaned over the ropes and said, "Go ahead and fire me, I don't care," he was looking at TNA President Dixie Carter. She and many others were upset at Joe for "going into business for himself." After the match, Nash waited for Joe backstage and they had a heated exchange, but eventually cooled down.

- At the TNA tapings today, Terry Taylor brought everyone's contract with him to a talent meeting. Dixie Carter told anyone that wanted their release that they could have it on the spot. Senshi took her up on her offer and is now gone from the company. Senshi was one of the winners in last night's "Feast or Fired" match, so it will be easy to explain his firing.

- Samoa Joe gave an emotional apology to the locker room for going overboard the previous night, and hopes everyone would take his apology. This was followed by Kurt Angle and Booker T giving pep talks to the roster, telling them that they had a lot to be positive about and asking them to keep working hard.

Oh dear...

Never a sensible idea to call peoples bluff, or was Dixie hoping a few of them would leave to help ease the amount of money TNA is losing hand over fist currently?

Possibly shaky times for TNA??

And at the Impact tapings, Daniels beat Senshi for his briefcase with Skipper as ref thus sending Senshi on his way. None of the briefcases were opened by the way.

Wow. I have been a huge supporter of TNA, mainly for the fact that I hate WWE, but I don't like where they are going. Honestly, I think that there is a big chance that this company could be headed for some huge problems. Senshi left? Woah. He was one of the better guys in the X Division, and TNA will sorely miss him. Hall didn't show up? OK, he had food poisoning. But he should have told them definitely whether or not he would have been there. Joe blew up? That doesn't surprise me one bit, as he has obviously been upset about his situation within the company. Anyway, I think that we should all stay tuned as TNA could be headed for some big problems. And why didn't they open the cases?

They're probably saving that for tonight's tapings (which air next week).

OK, so they tape a week before the actual show airs? Or is that just when they air in the UK? I get Impact on Thursday nights from 9-11. So I'm wondering when they will air here in the States. Any info on that?

They tape Impact on Monday and Tuesday every two weeks (except this month as they're taping again next week to give everyone time off for Xmas).

The Monday show airs on Thursday the same week and the Tuesday show airs the following Thursday in the US. So the show taped on Monday with Daniels vs Senshi airs tomorrow night in the US and the show they taped last night will air next Thursday in the US.

We Brits get Impact on Saturdays.

Wow...that is difficult to keep straight. I knew that they taped the shows, but I just assumed that they taped it on Tuesday for the Thursday (or Saturday) show.

The Saturday show is a repeat. he schedule is simple when you get used to it.

The reason I guess they do it that way is because a lot of the wrestlers are also Indie workers unlike WWE workers. So instead of going around the country together, they all show up in the same building together every two weeks for TV tapings and again at the end of the month for the PPV (unless they hold that outside of Florida).
