I assume that most people on this board have and iPod (or some other MP3 player), and I was just wondering what some of the songs you put on there are. You can go pretty much any way you want with this. You can tell the songs that will never be deleted, the songs we wouldn't think you'd have, or any new songs that you put on there.
The idea of this thread is to have some fun with music and to see what others on the board are listening to. It's intended to be a long-lasting thread, as people are always putting new songs on their iPods.
I don't really have time to tell you what's on my iPod right now, but I thought of the topic and wanted to post it before I forgot. Feel free to have fun with this one.

LOL nobody has to list all of their songs. Like I said, there are probably 3 categories where maybe you could mention 5 or so songs from your iPod. Must-haves, Ones we wouldn't think you'd have, and New songs (you can add these as you put them on your iPod, hence the staying power of this thread).
OK, here are my songs:
Must-haves 1. Anything by The Killers (I have just about every song from their first 3 albums) 2. Queen-Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, Under Pressure, and a few other must-haves by the band. 3. A good infusion of country music (Garth Brooks, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley) 4. Journey-Don't Stop Believin' 5. Incubus (because of the lady-she likes them so much that it makes me like them as well...but they are a helluva band)
What You Didn't Know 1. A bunch of Boyz II Men (can't help it) 2. A bunch of one-hit wonders (Vanilla Ice-Ice Ice Baby, Snow-Informer) 3. A good infustion of straight rap 4. Michelle Branch-Everywhere, Vanessa Carlton-A Thousand Miles 5. Daniel Powter-Bad Day
Just added (my last 5 songs) 1. Fort Minor-Remember the Name (rap group of Link Park co-frontman Mike Shinoda) 2. Gucci Mane-Freaky Gurl ("gangsta rap") 3. Jack Johnson-If I had Eyes 4. Tool-Schism and Sober 5. Guns N' Roses-November Rain
As you may have noticed, I have always prided myself on having a wide array of music interests. I like just about every type of music (including jazz, although I only have a few songs on there) from just about every era (Elvis is the next to go on, followed by some Frank Sinatra).

I currently have 3132 songs on my ipod. My Must haves probably won't be a surprise to some people here (MiB).
Must-haves 1. Aerosmith (Armegeddon sounds track, Young Lust) 2. Destinys Child (The Writings on the Wall, Survivor) 3. The Pussycat Dolls (PCD) 4. Morning Musume (All the Singles, and a few Reina Tanaka specials) 5. Christina Aguilera (Stripped, back to Basics, Lady Marmalade, Geine in a Bottle)
I hope these next ones will surprise most people, I put ones I think you really won't have expected me to have.
What You Didn't Know 1. Def Leppard (Vault) 2. Within Temptation (The Silent Force) 3. Guns N' Roses (Greatest Hits) 4. Kiss (Greatest Hits) 5. Linkin Park (Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Minutes to Midnight, Numb/Encore, Reanimation)
Just added (my last 5 songs) 1. Aly & A.J. (Potential Break Up Song) 2. Avril Lavigne (Girlfriend) 3. Take That (Rule the World) 4. Nicole Scherzinger (Baby Love) 5. Sean Kingston (Beautiful Girls)
What You Didn't Know 1. Bombfunk M.C - Free Styler 2. Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire 3. REM - Everybody Hurts 4. REM - Shiny Happy People 5. Marfa and the Muffins - Echo Beach
Just Added 1. Municipal Waste - Headbanger Facerip 2. Arch Enemy - Nemesis 3. Hellogoodbye - Here in your arms 4. Machine Head - Days Turn Blue to Grey 5. Reuben - Deadly Lethal Ninja Assassin
1. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Ballad Of Robert Moore & Betty Coltrane 2. Pearl Jam - Alive 3. Dresden Dolls - Girl Anachronism 4. Coheed & Cambria - Ten Speed (Of Gods Blood And Burial) 5. Evanescence - My Immortal
What You Didn't Know
1. Amy Winehouse - You Know I'm No Good 2. Will Young - Leave Right Now 3. Amy MacDonald - Mr Rock And Roll 4. Keane - Bedshaped 5. Bjork - Joga
Just Added
1. Apocalyptica ft Corey Taylor - I'm Not Jesus 2. 30 Seconds To Mars - The Kill 3. Avenged Sevenfold - Sieze The Day 4. Kid Rock - American Badass 5. Hed(PE) - Killing Time
But at least I actually LIKE rap. If I don't like someone, then I don't put them on my iPod. I also like country music and jazz and (some) crooner music. So I have a bit of everything on there.
And listen to Kanye West and tell me he's not talented. And what about Eminem?

Pretty much the big names make it over here. The more established names like Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton etc always do sell out shows as well as old favourites like Boz Scaggs, Alison Krauss, and Steve Earle. I'm not sure about the newer acts - I doubt if Carrie Underwood has ever set foot on these shores. The Mavericks were big in their day (are they still going?) and yes Achy Breaky Heart was a big hit here too! And Shania Twain although she is country lite (but a real babe!)
Lest we forget that it was over here when the Dixie Chicks made their infamous quote about George Bush.
Personally I have some George Strait and Clint Black in my CD collection with a lot of the classics scattered elsewhere (George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, etc).
I approve of KISS obviously as they're my favourite group but do you have the classic stuff from the 70's or their radio friendly stuff from the 80's and early 90's?
And I remember you discussing Within Temptation on the KN boards!
It is the KISS greatest hits album so a mixture of their stuff. My fav song on there is 'God Gave Rock and Roll to you' which is from the later period.
I think you should list what you have on your PC MiB as you don't have an Ipod.
I am most surprised that other people on here have ones like Take That, Will young and Daniel Powter.
I'll also give some credit here, I have lots of Morning Musume on my Ipod and that is all thanks to MiB.
Well I have 63 albums (mostly J-Pop & J Rock) and over 300 songs on my PC. (My CD collection is about 600 I think).
Most of the songs are various hits from various artists. To give you an idea, here are the last 10 tracks I played:
1. Boney M - Rasputin (4:25) 2. Tommy Tutone - 8675309 Jenny (3:40) 3. UB40 - Food For Thought (4:06) 4. Cliff Richard - We Don't Talk Anymore (4:10) 5. Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart (3:21) 6. Kim Wilde - Kids In America (3:29) 7. Lipps Inc - Funky Town (3:55) 8. Men at Work -Overkill (3:46) 9. Nik Kershaw - Wouldn't It Be Good (4:21) 10. Steam - Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, (4:08)
