The only disgrace there was Golden Compass wiining for best visual effects!! They were probably the worst all year.
As usual BBC Teletext and ITV news gave away the results before they were broadcast on TV.
Asian cinema got screwed as usual but at least they went for the French girl for Best Actress and that stick insect Knightly didn't win either. THAT would have been a travesty.
To be honest I thought Attonement was going to walk away with nothing. it should have.
Knightley herself said she had no chance of winning. If it hadn't been the French girl it would have been Julie Christie for Away From Her.
I never look at any news programmes and sites or online beofre watching the BAFTAs as I knew that would happen. The downside though was I had to watch Mr.Deeds to avoid it all....
