Firstly there isn't any links that I can find on CPC movies to this site, either on the CPC movie main site or forum? I know the name is in the forum sections but it is easier to just click a link rather than having to type the url.
What is the purpose of the site? It seems to me looking at it, I can't see any game reviews like there are on CPC movies which is what I think most people want. It seems mostly to be around selling games via amazon and making money out if it?
The site seems a very complicated and messy making it hard to see what, if anything useful is actually there and the forum looks very basic. From what I can tell apart from the adverts there is lots of writing but not much content?
Saying about reviews I have just looked at one game and noticed a rating at the bottom, but the details about the game are very limited and there is nothing about what the game is actually like. Also the look is very basic and seems to be all text and no graphics.
Also some of the data appears to be inaccurate, I looked at the Wii release list and it shows Beijing 2008 game as 27th June 2008. But as far as I am aware this game is not out on the Wii, only the 360, PS3 and PC. Errors like that don't fill me with confidence on the rest what ever content may be there.
Sorry if all my comments sound really negative, but I thought they may help improve areas and make the site more relevant to the Wii owners on here.
no one else got any comments and no reply from the mod either?
I thought of one thing they could offer, one great thing about the Wii is the unique controls, but this can also be a problem if the game gets it wrong.
The controls work really well for Wii Sports, Sonic and Mario Olympics, MarioKart, but I tried a game called Red Steel and the Wii controls for that were terrible!
I also posted a bit in the PS3 section about the game Star Wars The Force Unleashed asking about the controls and if anyone knows how they would work for that game on the Wii.
So I think it would be useful to have a section helping us Wii owners to know specifically how the Wii controls work for each game.
really I thought it was rubbish, looking around and and trying to shoot at the same time was really bad as you looked around by moving the target to the edge of the screen. Also the controls of the sword were just too difficult to make it feel like I had any real control over what it was doing.
Don't get me wrong I think the story and idea of the game were very good, just the controls let it down for me.
I see that to an extent but I've played some RPGs with far worse controls. I found the sword fine, but did have some issues with shooting as you described. Took some time to adapt but that was when Wii was still very new so maybe I gave it more time and effort than it deserved as it was a novelty.
