HHmmm....good thinking. I just tried from my home computer instead of my laptop and it works well. I'll further check my settings, although The Underground is the only one that's giving me this issue.

I know why my posts were going to the advanced editor instead of posting when I click post quick reply. It's happening in the game threads and its because I am making the posts too quickly together. I just noticed the message at the top when it happens. It goes to the advanced post instead and says you have just posted please wait before posting again. I wait a few seconds and I am able to post ok, so problem solved.

Just thinking maybe there could be a section on this forum for help and advice with using the forum or trying to do anything, or maybe people are happy to use this Q&A thread.

Anyway I have another question to ask. I have an ainmated gif I want to use as my avatar. When I look at it in thumbnail on my pc its a static picture, but when I click on it, it opens a browser window and it is animated. I selected it on here as my avatar and its static too. Can we not have animated avatars on here? I have seen them on other forums. If we are allowed them on here, then what am I doing wrong that it is no animated?

You can but you need to run to the image from a site rather from your own machine, for some weird reason it doesn't work. Although you also need to make sure the image is 100x100 in size otherwise you'll have the issues Kingabz has with his where some people can see it and others can't...

Whatever happened to Kingabz? He hardly posts these days... I remember his glory days of about 75 posts a day... ahh the old days.

Has anyone else noticed a failing in the PM e-mail notifying service?

I have it set to notify me via e-mail every time I receive a PM yet lately I've either not been getting an e-mail or there has been a major delay in it's arrival.

To wit: I have just read a PM from DM yet I have yet to recieve an e-mail telling me about it; and last night Nymvette sent me a PM at approximately 5.00pm but the notification e-mail didn't arrive until after 8.30pm.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I turned that off due to the amount of PMs I get a day. But I do get email notification when a new user signs up and Im often on here and find out long before the email arrives, so I have just emailed the board support to see whats goin on.

In the Watchmen thread it has DM's post from 68 minutes ago as the last post yet when I click on the link, the post is not there just my last one from 80 mintes ago. Anyone else seeing this?

Is anyone else having problems with the Chatbox?

I can only post in it after I have made a post elsewhere on the forums. If I try to post before that, I get taken to a new screen with the chatbox stuff spread across the whole screen and the background is white.

The only problem I've had with the chatbox is the spoilers that have been posted there but if I wanted to avoid results then maybe not logging in to a forum would help! Just a tad annoying as at least in threads I can choose to look at them or not.

Is there an option to turn it off on my settings? I guess I should have looked myself before asking!!

Sometimes it has glitches. refreshing always seems to do the trick. The issues are at Activeboards end though.
