Mr. McMahon has promised that the last Raw before WrestleMania will be the biggest one of all time. It is only fitting that the show will air live from Chicago, the home of last year’s WrestleMania.
With two huge main events, it looks like the show will live up to Mr. McMahon’s claims. World Tag Team Champions (and WrestleMania competitors) John Cena & Shawn Michaels will face World Heavyweight Champion Batista & Undertaker in a No Way Out rematch. Will the tenuous relationship between The WWE Champ & HBK stay intact?
At WrestleMania, Mr. McMahon’s representative Umaga will face Donald Trump’s representative Bobby Lashley in the Battle of the Billionaires. On Raw, Mr. McMahon himself will go one-on-one with the ECW World Champion. Does The Chairman have what it takes to topple the powerful Lashley?
Former World Tag Team Champions Edge & Randy Orton have also been at each other’s throats of late. Will their partnership continue to disintegrate as the Road to WrestleMania comes to an end?
RAW Preview. They are teasing the HBK turn way too much, we know he doesn't like playing heel anymore so I can't see it happening, however it would be intresting if they throw a curveball and have Cena turn on HBK...

Randy Orton then comes into shot, he says that Shawn blew his chance and says that he is the one who wants it more, Shanw mocks Orton saying he is the 1000th person to tell him in so many words that he will amount to nothing, and his prize for being the 1000th person is a new pair of dentures as he's going to need them after Shawn kicks his teeth out of his face curtosy of some Sweet Chin Music.
(3) #1 Contenders Match for the WWE Championship - Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels. Shawn makes his way to the ring to his music - not DX's. No crotch chops either - all HBK stuff. During the match, Edge makes his way to ringside, Orton is distracted and HBK nearly gets the win. Some great action, ref bump, HBK hits a diving elbow, tunes up the band but Edge distracts him, Orton takes Shawn and himself out of the ring, RKO on the ground, Orton gets in Edge's face, Orton goes for RKO, Edge reverses, tries to push Orton into the ringpost, Orton stops himself and turns around into a spear from Edge. Edge puts Orton back in the ring, tries to revive ref, a second ref comes out, Shawn and Orton get to their feet, Sweet Chin Music on Orton and HBK falls on top of Orton. 2nd ref counts Orton's shoulders down, but 1st ref sees HBK's shoulders down as well. Refs argue as Edge walks off looking happy with himself declaring that he is the #1 contender.
- backstage, Orton storms into Shane's office to complain about the match, Shane tell Orton to take it up with Coach because he has enough on his plate.
- also backstage, Foley is with Michael the Make a Wish kid, he meets Val Venis, Super Crazy and Cryme Tyme. Before he could Edge comes into shot and tells Coach he needs to talk to him, Coach and Edge walk off and Foley and Michael say "we tried to tell him."
(4) Non-Title - World Tag Team Champions The Hardys vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team. King and J.R. plug that RAW next week will take place in Milan, Italy. The Hardys win with a Twist of Fate-Swanton Bomb combo on Benjamin.
Up next: The Cutting Edge
- They plugged Steve Austin's movie yet again.
- The Cutting Edge: Edge makes his way to the ring, he says that he has spoke to Coach and Coach agrees that Edge should be #1 Contender, Orton then interrupts him and chases him out the ring, Orton says Edge is that last person who deserves to be #1 contender, and that Orton is, HBK then makes his way to the ring, he says that he is the better man and that at Backlash it should be the rematch of all rematches for the title. WWE Champion John Cena then makes his way to the ring, he tells Edge that he couldn't get the job done, OLrton has never had a shot and thats his own fault, and if HBK wants a rematch he can have one. Coach then makes his way to the ring - he decides at Backlash Cena will defend the title against Orton & Edge in a handicap match. Mick Foley then interrupts, he tells Coach that they tries to tell hik but he wouldn't listen, he doesn't get to make the big decision tonight, Michael does. The kid makes a fatal four way match at Backlash featuring John Cena, Randy Orton, Edge and Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship.
Up next: Lashey vs. Shane
(5) ECW World Title vs. Hair Match - Bobby Lashley vs. Shane McMahon. During the match Shane punches the ref getting himself DQ'ed. Umaga, Estrada and Vince then make their way to ringside. Umaga attacks Lashley. Shane hits Lashley in the head with a steel chair. Vince gets in Lashley's face and announces at Backlash he will defens the ECW Title against Umaga, Shane McMahon AND Vince McMahon. Vince declares the ECW Title is coming to the McMahon's. Vince takes free shots on Lashley as Umaga and Shane hold him when RAW goes off the air.
OK show nothing too special It looks like Carltio's about to turn on Ric now....
Havent watched raw but i would imagine mostly everything that happens in the WWE is a bit over the top Dark M ^-^. I would expect Vince to come back from the dead, i cant see him being killed off, either that or he will be off TV for some time. Iv always wanted a Londrick vs Worlds greatest tag team fued on PPV, but what does WWE do? It throws the 2 best tag teams together on Londricks first night on raw and wastes the teams in a no doubt ordinary tv style match. The 4 could have fantastic matches together given the chance. A small question here, as i dont watch much WWE these days but who are Raws tag team champions? I cant remember for the life of me.
Every segemnt Steph is involved in is over the top because she is spotlight hogging ego maniac like her father. I'm so glad the fans reacetd in total silence when she came out and booed her announcements. Hopefully the ratings will back up the live fans apathy and they'll end this crappy and tasteless angle ASAP.
Benoit - Cade & Murdoch are the World Tag Champs and will defend against The Hardys on Sunday.
Things aren't looking good for the RAW rating this week.
Meltzer:
We don't have the actual rating for Monday night's Raw at this moment, but the show did 3.4 million viewers. That was down 26% from last week, which was at terrible levels. The show's levels in the key demos were the lowest since the darkest days of early 1997.
The last three weeks RAW has pulled a 3.4 so for this show to lose 26% of the viewership must mean it is 3.0 or under. Ouch!
This morning, I mentioned here on the site that I heard the Raw rating was so low I had to confirm it before I would post it. Well, I have done that with WWE sources. After three straight weeks of doing a 3.4 cable rating according to Nielsen Media Research, Monday's show did just a 2.5. That is a drop of 26% from the previous week and a downright scary number. When I first heard it, I thought it had to be a mistake given that Raw never drops that much in a week. I am still somewhat hesitant to believe it wasn't affected by some kind of glitch along the way. Next week's number will be telling for WWE, for sure. If it stays low, WWE has serious, serious problems.
The 2.5 is the lowest non-holiday rating since October 27, 1997, which was a 2.3. That show was a taped Raw (taped on October 21st) and headlined by WWF World Champion Bret Hart vs. Ken Shamrock, Intercontinental Champion Owen Hart vs. Ahmed Johnson and WWF Tag Team Champions The Legion Of Doom vs. Los Boricuas. It also had one of Jim Cornette's rants about how horrible WCW was.
That same night, a live WCW Nitro did a 4.3 headlined by World Champion Hulk Hogan vs. Diamond Dallas Page, Ric Flair vs. Randy Savage, U.S. Champion Curt Hennig vs. Booker T, Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Jericho and Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Dean Malenko.
Im guessing things are looking bleak for WWE at the moment, cant be to surprised really. The quality of the product is really poor and with what happened to chris benoit, it may have turned many away from wathing it, who knows, quit arlarming but i should think thigs will get better in the future..
Totally agree with you there Totty. Injuries Benoit and a rapidly growing stale set of storylines is killing the WWE.
VBince needs to finally sit up and take notice that
1. We are fed up with Cena as relentless champ. 2. SMackdown and ECW need some more taltent over there to spruce things up. 3. Short term fixes that MIGHT get veiwing figures up. i) Make CM Punk a champ of a brand, SMackdown forinstance. ii) Have one of those Harlot Divas 'accidentally' get topless on a live show for some negative/positive publicity iii) Poach a big name talent from TNA or ROH and have them surprise debut.
Now I realize some of these suggestions are never going to happen, but they would increase their ratings at the very least...
This Monday night, live on Raw, Mr. McMahon strikes back. Find out what this means by tuning in to Raw at 9/8 CT on USA Network.
When Raw went off the air last week, an infuriated WWE Champion John Cena was wiping apple and spit off his face and staring lasers into Carlito, who thanks to Randy Orton, got a pinfall victory over The Champ. The Caribbean Superstar, who had argued that he deserved to be the No. 1 contender to the WWE Championship, now seems to have further ammunition to his claim. But, will he have to feel the wrath of Cena, who could look for revenge for his humiliating defeat?
Will Cena have something in mind for Orton, who has taken pleasure in sending messages to the champion in the weeks before their SummerSlam showdown? Last week, Orton added another legend to his casualty list when he took Sgt. Slaughter to boot camp and hospitalized him with a punt to his cranium. What is Sarges medical update? And will yet another legend challenge Orton?
Another Superstar who made a powerful statement was Mr. Kennedy, who also wants to be recognized as the No. 1 contender to the WWE Championship. Kennedy did the nearly-impossible put Bobby Lashley on the sidelines with a shoulder injury. How much will the loudmouth from Green Bay, Wis., boast about his latest conquest? And what is Lashleys condition?
When WWE received the 2.5 rating for Raw, there was real panic in Stamford, CT. According to Dave Meltzer, one of the ideas discussed during the week was to combine the rosters, and eliminate the tri-branded direction. At least, it was discussed, and either way, expect WWE to push the reset button on Monday night.
- Raw begins with video footage of Mr. McMahon arriving at the arena earlier today Jonathan Coachman welcomes McMahon Vince says when Raw begins he wants every Raw superstar under contract in the ring so that he can exercise his freedom of expression
- After the opening video all Raw superstars make their way to the ring Vince then stands on the stage he says the last time he was officially on Raw he was blown to smithereens, he shows the footage of the limo explosion from 2 months a go he says the fans must be wondering why he staged his own demise, he says he did it to see if anyone would care he says he is happy to report that he is beloved by the fans and by the superstars, he says tonight he will address the United States Congress and the American media, he says he will also address certain members of his family, Jonathan Coachman joins McMahon on the stage Vince says all the Raw superstars will now compete in a Battle Royal, and the winner will be the new General Manager of Raw! Coach looks disgusted
(1) Battle Royal All Raw Superstars Winner becomes the Raw General Manager Final four are Carlito, Cody Rhodes, Shelton Benjamin and Sandman Carlito eliminates Cody, Sandman then eliminates Benjamin and Carlito Sandman thinks hes won, William Regal then appears from under the ring and eliminates Sandman to become the new General Manager of Raw!
- Backstage Coach is complaining about William Regal becoming GM - Vince talks about two congresses wanting to investigate WWE at the same time Vince tells Coach he is now Regals assistant
- A Triple H returns video for SummerSlam airs
- Todd Grisham interviews King Booker, he says tonight he will prove that HE is the King of Kings, he also announces that next week, live from Madison Square Garden, the looser of his match with Jerry Lawler will place the crown on the head of the winner in a special ceremony
- Graphic hypes John Cena on Carlito's Cabana later tonight
(2) Rory McAllister w/ Robbie vs. Snitsky Pointless match, over in about 15 seconds after Snitsky wins with a Pump-Handle Slam
- Mr. McMahon takes a call from his accountant, he says we have nothing to hide he tells Coach they are being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service, he goes on to bury the media (and so he should) and he also talks money, after he leaves, I.R.S is seen in the background wearing his suit with his briefcase by his side and he is reading the Financial Times, he looks up to watch McMahon and then goes back to his paper
(3) Jillian Hall vs. Mickie James Before the match, Jillian talks to Lilian Garcia about her new album coming out in a few months, Jillian then goes on to give one of her performances! thankfully, Mickie interrupts. J.R. quietly jokes about mixing up Beth with Jillian last week! Jillian gets the win.
- Backstage Coachman uncomfortably congratulates his new boss William Regal on becoming GM, Regal says hes always wanted to be a games show host, and now that hes in charge he can! He tells Coach to go get some contestants, a set, some music and they will have a rendition of the Dating Game
- Carlitos Cabana up next
- Carlito comes to the ring and introduces the WWE Champion John Cena, Cena intimidates Carlito and makes him sit in a chair, Cena takes over the show re-naming it Cenas Cabana, he then goes on to interview himself ensuring Carlito doesnt move from the chair the entire time, footage from last week is shown of Carlito spitting in Cenas face, after Cena is through interviewing himself he turns his attentions to 3 reasons why he should kick Carlitos ass, 3. Because Carlito has no nuts, 2. Because he doesnt really like apples, he would rather swallow bananas and 1. Because its cool! Carlito and Cena start brawling Orton sneaks up behind Cena to try and RKO his again but Cena prevents it and Orton runs from the ring, Cena then FUs Carlito whilst staring at Orton Regal then decides that Orton and Carlito will decide Cenas opponent tonight
- Up next; King Booker vs. King Lawler II
- Randy Orton and Carlito tell William Regal they have decided John Cena will face Umaga tonight McMahon talks to Regal about his family, he says after his demise, his son Shane was conveniently missing, his daughter Stephanie, even though she had given a heart-felt speech the next week on Raw had already spoken to attorneys about getting her slice of the pie and he suspects his wife Linda was already looking to find a new man, he says he is confident he can get his family again united.
(4) Loser must crown the Winner next week on Raw - King Booker w/ Queen Sharmell vs. Jerry The King Lawler Booker dominates most of the match to begin with, all Lawlers attempts to fight back are cut short by Booker, Booker misses a Scissors Kick and Lawler takes control, Lawler is distracted by Sharmell and Booker gets the Scissors Kick in for the victory
- A video package is shown of Mr. Kennedy taking out Bobby Lashley last week, J.R. notes Lashley has suffered a torn rotators cuff and he is having surgery tomorrow
- Mr. Kennedy makes his way to the ring, he says there is one thing that we will be hearing a lot from now on, and that is Kennedy he repeats his name multiple times they go to commercial break
- The Dating Game with William Regal the 3 guys are Jim Duggan, Ron Simmons and Santino Marella, the girl is Maria. Santino tries to spoil the fun by telling Maria to just pick him, she ends up picking Simmons! Santino gets hot and demands Maria leave with him, Umaga makes his way to the ring for his match and everyone quickly gets out of his way
- Backstage Coachman is handed a summons to give to McMahon
(5) WWE Champion John Cena vs. Intercontinental Champion Umaga Randy Orton and Carlito interfere, they try to get Umaga to take out Cena with their help, Umaga turns on them and attacks them both! Regal then announces that next week Carlito and Randy Orton will team up to take on John Cena and Umaga!
- Backstage Mr. McMahon is seen going to exit the building, superstars are again lined up in the passage ways, Paul London is smiling, Vince looks at him and says keep that grin on your face!! he leaves and realizes its the same as when the limo exploded, he goes to get in but before he can shut the door Coach catches up with him to give him the summons, Vince asks what the summons is for, Coach reveals that it is for an illegitimate child!! Vince closes his eyes in disbelief, Coach remarks looks like there is another McMahon out there! As Raw goes off air
Vince is the father... oh dear, please tell me they are not doing this angle with steph please.. Well the reset doesn't seem to be that great if you ask me.. Anyone see it?
Also: After RAW went off the air, WWE champion John Cena defeated Randy Orton.
Apart from Regal being made GM and the "wink wink" re-enactment of Vince's previous last night on RAW ("Keep that smile on your face" - Vince to Paul London) it was all Vince, Vince, Vince. Umaga seems to have turned face with next week being the tester.
The problem is with just 2 weeks away from Summerslam they did Sweet FA to build up to it and the Vince stuff where he was sticking it to US Congress, the IRS and the media is likely to backfire on him.
I was looking around Youtube and I found a video of Mr. Kennedy in OVW saying that he is changing his name from Anderson to Kennedyand he chose Kennedy because it is Vinces name. I just thought it was interesting since there is a lot of speculation about Kennedy being Vinces illegitimate son. Source: Gerweck.
This is going to be one of the most dire angles since, well Vince's death.
Creative decided to change Ken Anderson's name because they didn't want anyone to assume a connection with Arn Anderson (yeah, I know....) and he did give the "Vince's middle name" reason but it was also a way to give him cheap heat. That doesn't necessarily imply that he would be the "illegitimate child".
It would be pretty daft to have it be an establishes member of the roster and not bring in someone new. This idea was first conceived a couple of years back but it fell through. They were going to bring a girl in to play Vince's love child.
In other news, RAW pulled a 3.8 rating this week, so expect more Vince and less push for Summerslam next week
For those who have asked about the rumors that the Vince McMahon paternity angle will involve Ken Kennedy, linking him to McMahon as his "son" somehow, I can tell you that was indeed the plan going into the angle. There have been plans to give Ken Kennedy a big push for some time and considering he was going to be linked to Vince McMahon staging his own death in the limo explosion a few months back, it stands to reason this may be the new way they have McMahon give Kennedy a rub. Still, it's all up in the air until it happens.
Dear god, I hope Kennedy isn't involved in anyway. I honestly don't see the fuss people make about him. I'd rather have two hours of McMahon than sit through one Kennedy match/promo.
Recent Reports have stated that Mr. Kennedy would be named Vince's illegitimate son. Contrary to those reports, GERWECK.NET has received reports indicating that the illegitimate child would in fact be a daughter. This would meld perfectly with Vince's tirade about Stephanie's Sob Story Angle that Vince touched on last Monday's Broadcast.
That was the head of Raw's creative team, Brian Gewirtz playing the "fan" who asked Santino Marella for an autograph during the restaurant vignette last night on Raw.
So, we know what he looks like, all we need now is an address....
Anyone got screen caps? Im so out of loop what with training this week and holiday last... So whats the latest news I haven't got time to goto Gerweck...
RAW sucked this week and was exceptionally poor for what is supposed to be the "go home" show before the 2nd biggest PPV of the year. And the main event was Cena vs Shitsky - Nuff said.
From these spoilers, other Umaga it's hard to tell whose out from the wellness policy...
Spoiler
- It's not a sell out, but a large crowd tonight.
- Lilian Garcia came out.
Heat:
- Val Venis defeated Jay Bradley.
- Super Crazy defeated Shawn Spears.
- Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Chad ?
- Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch defeated The Highlanders.
Raw:
- Raw begins with a video segment of Randy Orton attacking John Cena's father Johnny Fabulous. The crowd is perfect, cheer when they should and boo when they should.
- Jeff Hardy defeated Umaga to capture the IC title.
- They are showing Triple H and Carlito as upcoming tonight, not sure if its a match or the Cabana. They are also advertising "the McMahon family confrontation."
- Segment with Vince and Carlito. Vince suggests a handicap match because Umaga is mad about his loss. So it'll be Umaga and Carlito vs. Triple H.
- Another segment with Melina taling to William Regal about things she has done with Vince in private meetings. She whispers in Regal's ear and Regal claims its "filthy."
- Stephanie McMahon shows up, and then Linda shows with Linda slapping Melina in the face. Melina rubs her face, turns around and sees Ron Simmons who says "damn."
- Santino Marella comes out to vent his frustrations about Simmons and the "dump of a City Columbus," and Sandman interrupts. Sandman chases him out of the ring.
- Beth Phoenix defeated Maria in about a minute. Beth says she is cashing in her opportunity against Candice Michelle at Unforgiven, and Candice comes running to save Maria.
- William Regal comes out to announce he gave Randy Orton the night off because of his actions last week. They are showing Randy via "satellite." Regal announces Orton vs. Cena at Unforgiven for the WWE championship. Cena comes out and kisses his dog tags and attacks Regal. They send out three referees out to try to get Cena off .. Cena walks up the ramp and leaves Regal in a heap on the floor.
- Brian Kendrick and Paul London defeated the World's Greatest Tag Team - Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch were at the announce table to "praise" London and Kendrick, and then they leave.
- They show Regal in an ambulance getting treated and Shane McMahon walks by towards the arena.
- They aired a video about CM Punk and his desire to be champion. In the segment he says something like "I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, my high is wrestling."
- Vince and Coach have financial advisors and they are talking about Vince's money and how the family can't touch him. He then asks Coach how Regal is doing. Coach says "pretty beat up" and Vince replies with "well Coach, I guess its time for you to step up again."
- Cody Rhodes and Mickie James defeated Jillian Hall and Daiviri.
- Melina did the kiss cam.
- During the Triple H vs. Carlito and Umaga match, the ref rang the bell about 1 minute into the match because they were double teaming Triple H in the corner, I'm guessing for a DQ. Carlito brings a steel chair in, Triple H grabs it and starts to beat Umaga. He decided it wasn't doing the job so he climbed out of the ring to grab the sledgehammer busting Umaga wide open and continues his attack. Carlito retreats leaving Umaga in a pool of his own blood with Triple H standing over Umaga holding the sledgehammer. Huge pop for Triple H.
- Off air, they carry Umaga out on a stretcher and change the pad on the mat from all of the blood.
- Vince comes out and says everything is about the money and out walks Linda. She tells Vince she's the CEO of WWE and has plenty of money, she doesn't need his. But just so he knows based on his cheating and his parade of women. Vince tries to defend himself saying he's loney on the road and Stephanie comes out. She COULD take him to court for everything he's got. Vince tells Stephanie they have had good times together as she grew up and he put a video together of "Daddy's girl." Which is a montage of clips from past times like Vince choking Steph, kicking her, etc. He screams its the wrong video and turns it off. Coach says someone sabotated the video and then cut to Triple H in the back drinking water. Hunter says "Vince, I had nothing to do with that! Hi Steph." Steph says she does love Vince and he obviously doesn't get it and asks him to step down as chairman of the board. Shane's music hits. Vince asks Shane if he agrees and Shane asks which Vince McMahon he's talk to. The fearless leader who he's proud to call his father or the grapefruit swining meniacal concieted (etc.) embarrassement. Vince tells Shane to stop calling his wife names. Boring chants then turn into "*******" chants. Fans seem really bored .. its hard to hear the mics aren't very loud. Vince says he confesses that he has only cheated on Linda once in his whole life and that was with the woman who gave birth to his bastard child. Kennedy apologizes for interrupting saying everything happens for a reason. There was a reason he came face to face with him the night he found he had a son. Vince is on his knees vowing to be a better father and human. Vince is on his knees when Mr. Kennedy comes out. That his last name is the same as his middle name .. that he demands the bastard child be revealed next week in Green Bay, Wisconsin. And Kennedy says "ya see dad .. i'm your son." Stephanie butts in and says "you might be a bastard, but you aren't my dad's bastard." And tells him to prove it. Kennedy tells Vince he inspired him to become the greatest WWE superstar. Vince stands there with a grin as Mr. Kennedy's says "Mrrr.. Kennedy .. Mr. McMahon." A guy interrupts and says he represents the woman who gave birth to his son, its a male on the roster but the DNA test shows its not Mr. Kennedy. But it won't be revealed until next week. The guy messes up his lines dropes his paper and says the only clue he can give out is "things are looking up." They stumble through that portion because the lawyer totally messed up.
Vince sends everyone away except Kennedy and tells him to stop pretending and Vince says we are gonna have a match .. bring out a referee. Kennedy vs. Cena, a man full of rage for all the right reasons, and calls Cena a lunatic. Cena gets in the ring, runs his mouth and beats Kennedy down. The ref rings the bell and the match is on. Cena continues attacking and ripped Kennedy's shirt off and shreds it. Cena wins the FU.
- Raw goes off the air. Cena takes time in the ring and leaves shaking hands with fans.
Just wanted to let you know that I saw the WWE Copyright pop up just before Vince sent everyone out of the ring. The final confrontation between Vince and Kennedy (the tease of a Vince/Kennedy brawl) and the match between Kennedy and Cena was all dark.
Another poor sounding Raw and The highlanders going over London and Kendrick? :( very sad...Iv never understood the popularity of Shawn Micheals myself,he is a decent worker but certainly not even close to being one of the all time greats. His move set has always been limited apart from the same old punch kick punch kick, flying forarm, flying elbow drop and sweet chin music (With the occasional moonsault) and hes not the best on the mic, very overrated in my opinion but i guess he is still better then most of the roster these days.Id love to get back to watching WWE but from the sounds of it...i think ill stay away for now.
Im a big fan of HBK. Don't forget that is the way of the WWE style he follows. It also his ability on the mic, selling moves etc. (Also being part of the clique helps) If you look at his matches against Mankind at Mind Games and THE ladder match at WM X there are two very fine examples of why he will end up being a Legend. His back injury put pay to his best years though...

Aside from his hideously selfish and disruptive backstage shenanigans from 95-98, HBK is an all time great and an HOF worthy performer. Yes, his style has altered a lot over the last couple of years (he is 42 now with a recurring back and knee issues) but he can still pull out of a top carry job and still bumps and sells like no others.
And he is a more generous worker than Bionic H is these days. Don't write off HBK!

I`m assuming thats sarcasm?
Shawn is one of the greatest of ALL time. He is capable of dragging a good match out of anyone you put him in with. His moveset? all wrestlers have a moveset thats comfortable to them and hence they use it most matches but Shawn is capable of practically any type of match, from brawling to aerial to technical to garbage you name HBK can do it. Not comfortable on the micI can only assume you never saw him in his glory days. Even more recent during his heel turn and feud with Hogan HBK turned out some electric promos. Shawn Michaels will be in the HOF and he will also be remembered as one of the best EVER!

Listen to the guy, I remember watching the Skit he made where he dressed up as Hogan. I got goosebumps, the intencity and the way he switched from taking the piss out of hogan to giving the interviewer the Chin Music over the table, I've not seen a skit like it since.
The problem remains though that with his faith he doesn't like to play heel.
True, he only took the Hogan program on the condition he would be switched back after conclusion. But he was just so darn good and you could see it in his eyes there, the OLD HBK was trying to come out at times. But back to reality HBK will probably never play heel again.
Also name the last guy who carried Hogan to as good a match as Shawn did?
