I totally Agree. I love music sang in a foreign language. some of the best metal is from europe, plus when they add lyrics in their native tongue it's so much more special :D

Kiss are my favourite group of all time. I prefer the 70's albums when it was Paul, Gene, Ace & Peter over their later ouput though.

I do own Psycho Circus but as I was so unimpressed with it I've only played it once and that was when it came out in 1998!

I'm looking forward to getting the Kissology DVD set which has the complete concerts from the early 70's that they showed clips of on the Kiss Exposed video back in 1987 (which I've played to death wink.gif).

Er Dude, you are aware of the Junior Idol fetish in Japan aren't you? And you've heard of the Hello! Project camp of music acts like the dreaded Morning Musume who are made up of girls as young as 13 dressed in skimpy outfits and doing saucy dance routines?

This group of yours MAY be in their 20's and are wearing the Seifuku outfits as a gimmick but be aware that there is a very strong chance that the schoolgirl pop groups ARE actually schoolgirls.

Listened to MARIA's debut album entitled You Go! We Are MARIA today. Good stuff.



For the uninitiated, MARIA are a girl group (not a solo performer) from Japan, formed out of the ashes of a previous group called ZONE. They play melodic pop rock which they write themselves and they play their own instruments unlike most girl groups in the West who don't even know what instruments or songwriting is.

I guess there are a slightly poppier version of The Donnas for those of who have heard of them.

Oh and they are kawaii! wink.gif

lol, na I'm going for like an Opeth esq atmospheric sound. I think you can class some of Opeth's **** as Prog. that with some songs as Raw as thrash bands Such as Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer and Annihilator.

I just like experimenting really. I'm working on a speed metal cover of "Boys Don't Cry" by The Cure, it should sound quite interesting.

as for my playing, I've had no formal training. But I can hold my own in most situations ;)
