Well Another week of the McDonalds then... Boo! But Ashley gone WooHoo! Never really liked him. And boy oh boy would I not want to be Louis, I reckon Simon may have a few choice words for him backstage it will almost be worth watching the Extra factor see if they are both there... Well nearly.
copied from my original TWCF post
Oh and BTW the way there will only be one winner the guy I picked from the auditions...Ben.
I hate saturday night tv. Xfactor and strictly come dancing bore the hell outta me. I just love the moment when I get to come in throw the family out and watch impact....but even that kicks up a fuss since it clashes with casualty.
Barley wrote: I don't watch much of 'X Factor' but that guy with the big nose from 'Eton Road' is very odd looking and his singing is piss poor, that is all.
Hes really weird looking. Hes a cross breed surely!
I haven't seen any of the sjow tonight but from what I can gather its a mixed bag... I just want Ben to win, he's by far the best talent on that show. Leona is a Christina wannabe whichever way you chalk it and apparently shes released an album before so shouldn't that have her disqualified???
Ray, Eton Road or thsoe sodding McDonalds to go please...
Out of the frying pan.....I hate Thornton and I hate this smug, patronising twerp too. And with the rumour that the irritating Randy "Yo check it out dawg" Jackson from American Idol will be a mentor, I have to ask: don't they want anyone to watch this show anymore?
I believe that David Gest will just be a judge while Randy "Kinda pitchy" Jackson may be an actual mentor. The latter is not 100% confirmed so don't take it as gospel.
Bumped because the show returns next week with that useless smug bland tosser Dermott O'Dreary as host. So they get rid of one person I hate and replace her with another. Brilliant.
At the launch of the fourth series of the 'X Factor', the makers of the show have admitted that some scenes have been staged.
ITV entertainment chief Paul Jackson said that some of the scenes in the first episode involving Simon Cowell wanting to bring back fellow judge Louis Walsh had been staged, but that they reflected what had actually happened.
Jackson said that if the makers of the show thought that the scenes could potentially mislead viewers, they would make clear that the sequence had been reshot when the first programme of the new series airs on Saturday.

He said: "In entertainment at ITV and all of us on the 'X Factor' take this issue of trust incredibly seriously. I don't believe that we've ever done anything on these shows to mislead the public or deceive the public."
He continued: "When our chairman (Michael Grade) says there will be zero tolerance of deception we all buy into that absolutely. We're entertainment programme-makers. We tell stories. We don't tell lies."
"How we tell the stories and the order in which we tell it, of course, we work as hard as we can with the tricks the profession provides for us to make the best story that we can for the public," said Jackson.
"Occasionally something will happen which the cameras weren't on, it's a lunch break, the camera wasn't quite wound up, running up to speed, it wasn't on the right place at the right time.
"Occasionally we go back and reshoot something that we believe is vital to the story and put it in the proper place in the story.
"Whenever we've done that we shoot what happens. We shoot it very close to the incident, and we do it to get the story right.
"We've always done that. Obviously we're in a slightly more sensitive climate at the moment.
"When we go back and pick up shots like that, if we ever put those together in a sequence which I think could in any way mislead the public we will make it clear to the viewers that we have done that," he said.
Cowell said of the first episode: "Most of it was real."
He added: "We're trying to show the mood up to that point. It's much more honest to show that stuff than say 'there's lots of interesting stuff but we're not going to show that."'
My first two posts have been pure moans, but the X Factor this year has been a bit 'meh' for me, no stand outs as of yet, and I don't like how they've lowered the age limits and split the sexes. A new category of 'instruments' would have worked better for me rather than 'more of the same'
The problem with the X-Factor is about producing the next big 'pop sensation' therfore any real musical talent is not required. The problem with the format is the way the episodes are constructed, you can pretty much work out whose going to be in the final shows.#
I don't think we've seen the winner yet though. Although that young girl who auditioned last year year and got through but was too young and came back this year is in with a shout. Also, the guy from that pop band who was on this weeks show.
And is it me or is Danni Minogue the most miserable judge ever? She always goes the opposite way of everyone else... Also, she makes out liks she is some kind of music expert veteran like she was a big star... Puurlease...
Well I think we saw a possible iwnner tonight in that Black lady was it annalise who sang that song from Dreamgirls. That 14 year old boy... He wsa OK but he's gonna need to be tougher to get into the finals. Could you imagine it on the first week of live shows and he's in the final 2. He'll fall apart.
I hate this show, its the same every year and i never take pleasure of seeing peoples dreams get shattered or people making a fool of themselves. And besides, do any of the winners of this show ever achieve much fame after? Cant say iv heard of last years winner at all!
The fat girl and her equally fat family were on GMTV this morning (they took up half the studio space alone) and they maintained that Simon was out of order. The girl insisted she wasn't pushed into the contest at all and it was her dream blah blah blah.
Some e-mails said that she was humiliated while others said she should have expected that from Simon especially when he was right that she couldn't sing.
And yesterday the Sunday Mirror ran a story that alleged the bot camp was literally ran like one with poor accommodation and food, abusive staff and Simon being labelled "The Fuhrer".
Is it me or is this possibly the worst year for candidates? At least with American Idol, they have Millions of new people every year we haven't seen before. How many of the poeple put through by the panel, were there just to annoy Simon by the others?
I think that girl who nearly died a year ago has a shot at it. It doesn't help with the way the judges fell. You can tell they want a group to win this year... They agve them Simon! I reckon Louis will get rid of that idiot fairly sharpish too as he doesn't like him. The papers are still championing that squaddie guy. Was he the one in the hat? Because I don't remeber seeing him.
Well at least Icaro didn't get into the final 12. Apart from Simons bands they have a strong line up this year. Shame that Ghostt and those geeks/stoners didn't get in though, they would have been great.
I liked the fact that the cocky girl from the makeshift group was caught out for having an outstanding criminal prosecution hanging over her head. Hah!!
Could you imagine having to manage that lot....? I can't see the bands lasting. We've been taking bets on whose going first Hope or Rydian. So instead of predicting a winner each weeek maybe we should be guessing on whose going...
Sadly that cocky Rydian (what a name) can sing and is the only real singer in the whole contest. On talent alone he should win but damn his ego to hell.
BTW - that brother and sister are creepy because they are TOO lovey dovey to be related. I have a sister and we are in no way like those two. It's impossible to be that close unless they have an incestuous relationship. Hell - even The Carpenters argued!
Tensions are high as the familiar X Factor theme tune belts out. It's a tough time for our contestants, as we are all about to find out which of our twelve acts is about to leave the X Factor competition for good.
While the last desperate votes are called through, Leona Lewis, getting goosebumps being back on the X Factor stage after her win almost one year ago, lightens the mood. Her new single is going head to head with the Take That boys for the top spot next week. Can Leona's Bleeding Love do it? One things for sure, she was certainly popular in the hall - maybe that cheer said it all! (And Dermot was only joking about getting Simon to judge her - but he did)! "It was just incredible Leona, I'm very proud of you, that was just stunning".
And after the break it was onto the tough stuff! Dermot's made no secret that he doesn't favour this part of his role ( unlike Simon who says he loves being nasty!), and delivering bad news to one of this bunch will be the hardest thing he has to do as X Factor host. best get used to it Dermot - it won't get easier from here on in!
Leon, Alisha, Same Difference and Daniel were among the contestants who fell foul of the judges' comments, and they are feeling particularly shaky as the programme kicks off. But no-one is safe, and it not the judges'opinions, but the public vote, which counts for everything now.
And then the moment can be postponed no more. As Dermot gathers the contestants on stage, hands are clasped in hope and prayer. Of course, the moment is milked for full effect...
...just as we're doing here! Leon was saved, then Daniel... Emily... until In the end it fell to Kimberley and Alisha to fill the dreaded bottom two spots. Their mentor Sharon told Dermot, " I don't think I can be allowed to say what I think because I'd be banned from national television forever". "I don't bave any advice for them cos what I've said so far has been no good. I think I'm going home now Dermot". And with a hug and a kiss, she left her two girls to sing for survival.
It looks like Kimberley won't be able to make it through her number as she falters on the first words, full of emotion. But thank God for this song - it'd make anyone happy, and soon Kimberley is giving the performance of her life! Would it be enough?
Meanwhile Alisha looked liked she already knew she was going home as walked onto the stage for the second time, but she too pulled a better-than-before performance out of the bag.
Finally it was time for the judges' verdicts... but there's something serious going on.
It looks like Sharon was not joking about walking out. Having left her seat and standing apart from the rest of the crew, Sharon looks ready to leave the studio. As Dermot explains to a confused auditence, "Sharon can't choose between her acts. The final vote will be between three judges, as Sharon has decided to leave the night"
"Leave the show!" shouts over Sharon. Is she for real?
With pressures of time to adhere to, a valiant Dermot tells Sharon, "we'll come back to that later. First I have to do the results..."
And asking the remaining three judges for their votes, he is told... Simon - "Because it is a singing competition, I'm sending home Kimberley!" Dannii - "Can I sit this one out too? I can't choose... I have to choose...Alisha" And the casting vote fell to Louis - they are both terrific, fun girls. It's the fun factor versus the talent factor - the act I'm sending home tonight is... Kimberley.
As the shock kicks in, Kimberley stumbles through a few final questions, revealing her highlight was "going to Sharon's house and meeting Ozzy - he really is mad".
It would be good if Sharon was there to hear her - but she's not. Mrs Osbourne has already left the building.
And 19-year-old Kimberley Southwick can do no more now. She's back to the X Factor house to pack her bags; for our favourite brummie barmaid, the X Factor journey ends here.
Seriously?? Once she got past her nerves she was one of the better acts. Once again it's a case of they have decided who they want to win already.
I knew (read: prayed) that the barmaid would go first. Sharon isn't leaving. I can understand her not wanting to vote between her two charges and that's fair enough but you can't quit the show just because you're one-nil down, that says you think sweet FA off your other two acts.
It's just a heat of the moment thing that the media have picked up on and have blown out of all proportion as usual and Simon Cowell isn't going to object because it stops X Factor being overlooked by the rugby result and it gets them more press than the dancing show.
The girl band? I thought they were okay but their voices were too "clean" and didn't have enough sass or edge for a song like Lady Marmalade.
Louis Walsh was being a complete prick this week. I hate it when he says that Pondlife do the definitive version of certain songs when they are just a bunch of worthless karaoke puppets themselves!
X Factor finalist Emily Nakanda has withdrawn from the show after a video emerged showing her allegedly attacking a teenage girl.
The 15-year-old was seen punching and grabbing the girl by the hair in the video recorded on a mobile phone.
A spokeswoman for the show said as a result of their investigations Emily had chosen to pull out of the contest with immediate effect.
Emily's mentor Sharon Osbourne said she was "deeply saddened" by the situation.
'Very sorry'
Louis Friberg, Emily's mother, said: "As a family we are heartbroken and are very disappointed with Emily's behaviour, we feel that there is no choice but to withdraw Emily from the competition.
"Emily regrets her actions but there is no way, as a family, we can excuse her behaviour. Emily is very sorry to have let the show, Sharon and the viewers down."
In the statement Ms Friberg also said her daughter and all the family "sincerely apologise" to the girl involved, her school and all the fans that have supported Emily.

Another video emerged earlier this week on YouTube showing Emily and a group of friends laughing and threatening a teenager, while one of the group held what appeared to be a weapon.
It is believed the videos were filmed before Emily entered The X Factor and have since been removed from the website.
As the youngest finalist to ever have competed on the programme, Simon Cowell said Emily "was the reason the age range was lowered".
She won over the judges with her innocent looks and Osbourne said in one episode that she had a "butter wouldn't melt" personality.
Bookie refunds
The singer also gained the sympathy of viewers by revealing that she almost died from the stomach infection peritonitis last year.
She was due to sing Bjork's It's Oh So Quiet on the next programme.
Show organisers have said that Emily's withdrawal will not affect the voting on the show this Saturday and one act will still leave the competition.
Bookmaker Ladbrokes said it would refund all bets on the teenager following her shock exit.
"We think the only fair thing to do, given the circumstances, is to void all bets on Emily regardless of the market," a Ladbrokes spokesman said. You'd think for someone who came near to death last year would be a little more considerate of others. If this is true then good riddance. She was likely to go after two lacklustre performances anyway.
