A Spoiler about one of the final 24 from courtesy of the Sun...
Spoiler
X FACTOR former junkie Rachel Hylton has made it into the final 24 contestants, TV Biz can reveal today.
The single mum has been open about her life of drug addiction, crime and under-age sex — and revealed her heartache at having three of her five kids taken into care.
But it looks as if things are on the up for the 26-year-old.
Brilliant For she blew away judges on the ITV talent show with an emotional performance of Amy Winehouse’s You Know I’m No Good.
A source on the telly talent hit told us: “Rachel is brilliant — it looks as if she could go far on the show.
“She has got past boot camp and the next stage will be the judges’ houses, which we will film in a few weeks’ time.
“That’s when the four judges pick their final three and those 12 go through to the live shows — so Rachel is in with a great shot of making it.”
Rachel lives in Stanmore, North West London, with her two youngest children, son Tishon, six, and daughter Tashanee, four.
Her older two sons and a daughter have been adopted, but Rachel — drug-free for six years — is allowed “letterbox contact” with her children, we can reveal. This means she can send them birthday cards, Christmas cards and any other family news.

Talking about her troubled past, Rachel, who has been jailed for crimes including attempted burglary, admitted: “I’m not trying to hide anything.
“I know I took drugs and I know I committed crimes. I’m really remorseful for that.
“I’ve come out the other end and want to have a second chance to make life better for me and my kids.”
I have to say Im looking forward to Saturday as it's some of the funniest TV about. Plus I'll be watching with my sister (As I'll be on holiday) and when one of us starts we both fall about laughing...
Oh God.....on Xtra Factor that Eminem wannabe twat from a few years back has returned with a moose of a fiancee` who let him impregnate her and they both auditioned!
People still watch this? its the same old, same old each year..I can understand why its popular but its not my cup of tea at all,far to many rubbish talent shows on these days of the music variety.
For all the flak this show gets I don't mind it so much as the winner does (ostensibly) have to earn their prize and exhibit some degree of talent in doing so - even if the end result is always subject to personal taste.
As opposed to other shows like Big Brother where people win money and 15 minutes of infamy for sitting around a house doing sweet FA and behaving like an arsehole, I'll take X-Factor and American Idol over BB any day of the week.
The Mirror ran a story today about the guy who appeared on the show this past Saturday who claimed he had been fostered out which has been denied - by his real father!!
Minogue won last year's series with Scottish singer Leon Jackson Dannii Minogue has said it is too early to rule out a confrontation with fellow X Factor judge, singer Cheryl Cole.
In an interview with the Radio Times the singer said: "Everybody's jumping on me going, 'What's Cheryl like? Are you two fighting yet?'
"Well, I've only had a few days of filming with her so far, so let's wait and see," the 36-year-old added.
Girls Aloud star Cole has replaced Sharon Osbourne on the judging panel for the fifth series of the contest.
'Won't be missed'
There was speculation that 55-year-old decided to leave the show because of a series of rows between her and Minogue.
"We weren't friends," said Minogue, "We weren't always fighting, but Sharon made it clear that she didn't like me, so she won't be missed. Not by me."
The Australian singer who now thinks "The new line-up works brilliantly," also revealed how she told newcomer Cole: "Have fun. Enjoy it." Cole joins current judges Minogue, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh
"We're all so passionate about music, this is what we love, so just be yourself. That's what people want to see. It'll be interesting to see how she handles it," she added.
Cole has made comments about Minogue's appearance in the past, saying: "She doesn't look natural. I don't think men find her attractive."
Minogue, who joined the show in 2007, said how she lives for the extrovert characters that audition for the programme.
"Sometimes you're laughing right at them and they don't see it. They're in their own world. It's like we're not even there," she said.
I am SO bored with the media trying to stir up trouble between these two women when it doesn't appear to be any issue there at all. It's pathetic and does nothing for the show, either women and only serves only to make the media look like the scum they are.
Just caught the end of this show and boy oh boy what a fruitcake that woman was, dont watch X factor myself as i dislike the whole thing, either complete idiots go on their or seeing some honest and genuine peoples dreams go up in smoke isnt all that great viewing for me.Cant believe some of the people who go on actually think they are awesome!
But it's made worth while when some genuinely talented people get to see their dream realised, see David Cook from AI last year. You just have to hope that when they win they're not channeled down the route of dreary pop, by short sighted music execs trying to make a quick buck.
No. Text speak outside of mobile phones is ridiculous looking and lazy. Only ignorant and lazy kids do it. You are a grown man. Really, I don't mean to seem like I'm picking on you but for crying out loud have some dignity.
Mib dont be harsh on braxious ^-^,its good that he supports his mate i think, and again dont be to harsh on his spelling to.Might actually watch X factor again next week, might as well give the show a try dispite my dislike for this kind of show ^-^.
Totty, I have no problem with Braxious or him supporting his mate whatsoever. I also understand his issues with dyslexia and I respect him for doing his best overcome that to get his degree in English. But we - including DM - have had this text speak discussion with him before and yet the message doesn't seem to have sunk in.
Text speak on a forum where intelligent chat, debate and discussion is encouraged is no place for such lax and irritating childish practices. Save it for the mobile phone.
Seriously, I wish this wasn't an issue and I'm sick of having to raise it but it's really not much to ask that we keep this inane and ugly habit away from these forums is it?
I have to say I'm with MiB on this one. I dislike text speak even in text messages. My sister is heavily dyslexic and took part in a study a year ago where they proved that text speak is actually harder for dyslexic people to understand that properly constructed sentences.
As for critisism of poor spelling etc., we all do it so tongue in cheek digs about it are par for the course.
Oh and MiB....
Smile....!
Oh and as a side note, Holly Willoby (sp?) is growing on me more and more with each passing week. She really is a cute little bundle of fun! Much better than Dermot.
And the Black Girl from the broken home, and that 16 yo from Saturday nights, plus the other girl from the first week they lauded over and the one from this weeks show which Simon declared she was 'something special' etc...
Oh and I believe we actually put it in the forum rules about no Txt speak and it is a warnable and bannable offence on these forums. Have you not read the forum rules? They even have their own section...
Surely he would already know what judge his is being mentored by after the boot camp stage? That's when they usually let them know after they've whittled the numbers down isn't it?
And I hope you use the "spoiler" tags when posting this info.
Still not seen any of this yet, but did see this news report.
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has been told to keep her hands off a "good-looking" male contestant. cherylcoleMarried Cole was reportedly smitten with 22-year-old singer Joseph Chukukere and called him "gorgeous", while also admitting to "flirting" with him after the auditions.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, 18-year-old girlfriend Frankie Hayes said that Chukukere was "spoken for" and that they "are in love and have been going out for a year."
Hayes didn't blame Cole for liking her beau, but warned the pop star to "keep her hands to herself." Chukukere will be appearing on this weekend's show to sing a cover of "Ain't No Sunshine".
It wasn't just Cheryl - Minogue and Holly Willoughby were swooning over him too...
There was a cute Asian looking girl who they briefly showed last night. Shame it was brief but Simon gave her a "Yes" before she even sung!! I would have given her one too!
