I thought it was a rather weak episode this week, no one really stood out for me other tha the old boy who thought he was at the Britiains Got Talent auditions... And as for the the bloke at the end with the wife and child thing.... Cheryl fully crossed over and became Sharon Osbourne (Only younger and better looking)
Hey braxious, your mate Scott was in the papers today because he upset the show's producers.
As the story goes, all the males 16-24 were supposed to stay put at the airport but Scott went for a wander and caused a scare. When they found him he was chewed out for his actions!
This potentially bridges two threads, but anyway...
US pop star Britney Spears will perform on The X Factor, a spokeswoman for the ITV show has confirmed.
"She will be appearing on the show as a special guest, but we're not confirming the date yet," she said.
The 26-year-old singer is planning another comeback as she prepares to release her new album in December.
Spice Girl Emma Bunton, Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud, former pop star Sinitta and Westlife's Shane Filan will appear as X Factor judge mentors.
Boot camp Bunton has been called in to assist Dannii Minogue with her category.
Walsh will help new judge Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Filan are to work together and Sinitta will advise Simon Cowell.
The ITV talent show will begin its "boot camp" stage on Saturday, where fans of the show will see the four judges continue to whittle down the acts for the live shows, which take place later this year.
It has not yet been announced which categories each judge will be taking care of.
The BBC's flagship Saturday night show, Strictly Come Dancing, will take on The X Factor this weekend, with both programmes overlapping for 20 minutes.
And those guest judges are a joke: some twat from Pondlife, a Spice Fail and another airhead from Girls Afoul? Then again Sharon Osbourne had one of the Pussycat Trolls to help her last year...
MiB don't be rude about Kimberley Walsh, she is my favourite member of Girls Aloud and is a very good singer. She did a challenge where she did a role in a West End show and was very nervous but very good. You could say I have a little crush on her
braxious's mate Scott was in the paper again today because he quit his Pontins job to pursue his X-Factor dream. Apparently they wouldn't give him the time off for the boot camp sessions so he chose to quit.
Was it just me or did anyone else think the fact that braxious's mate had "X" shaped earrings was a bit tacky?
I have to say I resent that ex-jail bird/druggie getting through. Fair play to her for wanting to turn her life around but she is too aggressive and OTT which makes her very dislikeable in my eyes.
Also did you notice that Cheryl didn't have any make-up on yet she still looked hot whereas Danni was caked up to the gills and well...looked a bit tarty?
I agree with the earing comment and the Ex-Con is so arrogant. Is the fact that on 3 occasions she has messed up not proof enough that she'd suck on the live shows!
did you all notice when the judges were giving the verdicts the male judges made the contestants stand in front of them like a headmaster would a naughty child. where as the female judges had them sitting down like a friend delivering bad news,
Indeed, In fct the only one who didn't cry was the over 24 bloke is it Daniel? We don't have to go with Scott, Id prefer Austin if Im honest but as Braxious is one of the Brotherhood and Scotts Gay lover ;) I suppose we ought to support him. BTW Braxious that pic of Scott is seriously Gay looking. X earings an all....
MiB, I'm not Scotts biggest fan either but he's Braxious's mate and certainly hasn't done anything personally against you so ease up a bit! I'm all for a bit of ribbing but you verging on a full blown flamming!
I'm not flaming Scott and braxious (hopefully) knows I'm just teasing him since that is the kind of rapport we have built up. At least I didn't say Scott was gay looking like DM did! (Although I do agree that picture is not very flattering...)
The truth is I don't really rate any of them this year so far but since we have an actual connection the show this year via braxious then of course there is going to be teasing. I'd expect the same if I knew someone in the contest too.
There was a big piece in the Mirror today about the finalists having their make overs for the finals with a quote from Scott about the tissues they used to wipe his skin down being sold one E-bay for "thousands"....
Today's X-Factor story from the papers is that Simon Cowell has been to busy in the US to spend any time with his group. The Mirror says he hasn't seen them for a month and has left everything up to his minions whereas the other mentors have given all their time to their groups.
Wasn't Scott the only one who had heard from Cowell directly over the phone? Anyway being it was his birthday this week, he's probably been busy or hungover.
Is it me or is Scott being pushed ever so heavily along with Alexandra? The seem to be the only two in the press at the mo...
In the Mirror yesterday there was a pic of Scott and the blonde girl while today they had a story on that guy who cries all the time because at school he was glasses wearing nerd who was bullied.
I make a point of not reading press stories about contestants, nor the snippets that space out the performances on live shows. I prefer to make my mind up on their performances alone. Glad that lying knob didn't make the final 12 though. A topic close to my heart so that kind of BS is very much unappreciated.
I don't wish to appear too cynical but I think it was something of a sympathy vote for Scott, especially after he choked up from hearing the judges comments.
He would have got more respect if he did like the mouthy girl did: take it on the chin and say, "well, give me another chance and I'll show you".
That said, it was a weird choice of song and Simon screwed up.
I can't stand Louis Walsh so whenever he loses an act that's fine with me, although it does mean the glam factor of the contestants has now dropped.
