Bloody Royal Mail. They left a note saying they tried to deliver a parcel this morning at 7.30 that was too big for the letter box. But did they ring the doorbell first? Nope! They said wait 4 hours to pick it up from the collection office (meaning 11.30) which closes at 12.30 and my sister and nephew are due up soon cos we're going out! furious

So we decide to have Pizza tonight and that I would order it online. Last time I did it, everything was fine. This time...

First the site kept crashing meaning I had to go back to the start to re-enter my order. Then when my order finally went through I noticed on the confirmation e-mail that the changes I made to my toppings hadn't gone through. Then the order arrived 15 later than the requested time, slightly coldish...and without my chicken wings which were confirmed in the order. We tried to phone up to complain but they never answered.

I have to say that in all the years we've been using Pizza Hut this is probably the third screw up but it's still annoying.

erm, shit tired of having no real direction, I hate it that I can't seem to find my "Neishe in life" as it were, I go from one shitty dead end job to the next and I'm usually super enthusiasic about most things I do. But unfortunately at the minute I'm suffering the biggest bout of "Existenial Nialism" I've ever had in my life and for some reason I'm getting feelings of dark forboding in my mind.

My internet connection decided to bugger off earlier this afternoon so I've spent the last couple of hours trying to fix it, culminating in an ever-so-helpful chat with a Sky Broadband advisor. Anyhow, back up and running now (obviously!)

Why are official forms for things like benefits and NHS allowances so Goddamn difficult to fill in?

Not only do they keep mentioning supplementary forms that you've either not got or have already filed in to get this one but they never make anything clear enough for you to know if you've got the right form or if you've filled in the right bit pertaining to your case!

For crying out loud! How am I supposed to renew my medical certificate when it expires on a Sunday and I can't get an appointment with my doctor before then?

My regular doctor is on holiday but there are no more appointments for today with any other and they won't release new appointments until Monday morning at 8.00am - despite me being told to ring back at 2.00pm for an appointment which I've been trying to for the past 45 minutes!

The best the receptionist said she could do was leave a note with my doctor and either I ring up or she rings me about picking up a note or something.

Bit miffed today! I got a letter saying my sick benefits would be stopped because they didn't receive my last medical certificate (which expired on December 16th) that I sent off on December 18th! This letter btw was dated December 23rd - a slight clue as to why my certificate may be a tad late perhaps?

So I rang the number on the letter only to be told it was the general office and I needed a new number to ring. So I rang them and the woman there said that she could find no record of my certificate but she would consult elsewhere and ring me back!

The annoying thing is that my last certificate expired on Dec 16th which was a Sunday and I couldn't get a doctor's appointment until the following Tuesday because of the new policy of only releasing a few appointments at the time and then having them all filled by the time everyone is told to ring back for them!

I didn't notice until a while ago that December 23rd was a Sunday! That means the cheeky sods post dated that letter the previous week without waiting for my form to arrive!

Anyway, they haven't rung back so I have to get a second certificate and the only appointment I can get is with a locum (!) this Friday morning.

My work PC has died with some form of virus trouble. It's throwing up virus alerts everytime I log onto CPC Movies. I seriously hope that it isn't infected.

Just to rub some salt into my wounds, today get a "final reminder" to supply a certificate - dated December 29th! Not only is that two days BEFORE I got the first letter but it's also a Saturday!!

So I ring them up and guess what? I'm stuck on hold! AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!

Im getting cheesed because the last 3 weeks now, my money to norway still hasent arrived and tracking it online, it keeps saying its been passed on to the delivery service in norway. Its special delivary so surely he should have it by now..getting a little worried.

Update - I finally got through on the phone to the benefits people....and my original certificate has arrived!! The bloke said that it's on the computer so I can ignore the reminder letters.

And I was right in the middle of a rather protracted letter of complaint...

Totty - if domestic post is held up by the Christmas season then international post will certainly be hit by delays.

The thing is i sent some christmas cards to my friends in korea, china, japan ect and they got them and i recieved them from the same areas recently to..so its odd that im getting and sending items and getting them sooner then the one thing i sent on special delivary to a country far closer to england! Well finally i got some of my dvds so im pretty pleased, was worried for a moment because the tracking thing on royal mail said it hadent been delivered so no idea why it said that but still, got some of them now so im pretty pleased.

I am not happy, I hurt my foot.

So I went to the doctors and then was sent to the hospital for an x-ray.

I have to go back to the doctors next week for the results of the x-ray to see if I have broken it like the Doctor thinks I have.

Although I can walk around, I have been told to rest it for now. So this weekend nothing but sitting around for me!

As for me, I haven't broken anything. It still hurts like hell but the doctor just told me to take a couple pain killers and put up with it. I asked if I should rest or if I can play some sports and was told I can play sports.

So I guess it is take a couple pain killers and back to playing netball for me.
