Well the bloke still came despite me cancelling the appointment this morning.

I didn't answer the door after he rang twice but I saw him from the upstairs window. A few minutes later he rang and left a garbled message on the answerphone Up until 5 minutes ago he was sitting outside in his car.

I wonder how long it will be before I get another call from head office?

I dunno if you guys have it where you're from but it's all about Jobs @ Pertemps, I signed up and I'm on the Cusp of signing a Contract for The Job I'm in atm. It's like £9 an hour for sorting out Deceased Estates and Lost Payments for Computershare. Not too bad if you have an MP3 player and a fuck load of patience lol.

I bought a Sony Walkman MP3 player yesterday, looks very neat, I was excited.

Then I faced the task of putting any songs on it.

My songs are primarily on an family PC, which is on its last legs and is grindingly slow.

I spent an hour try to install the enclosed Windows Media Player 11, and trying to put a song or two on the player but its took too long so I turned it off.

Then today my sister kindly offered to take the songs from my old MP3 player and put them on my new one. After an hours it seemed she had been succesful, 90 songs on my shiny Walkman. But then half of them wouldnt play because the player didnt like the format my songs were in. Then I spent another hour desperately trying to put some songs from my PC to the walkman. Only I could only now find 15 songs on Windows Player 11, the rest were missing. I loaded them onto to my player, but accidently loaded some songs I didnt want. Hilariously the player doesnt allow you to delete songs directly, rather you have to go on Media Player to do that.

So now Im gonna format the bloody player, and take it back to the shop, because Im sick of bloody PC's, sick of Walkmans, Formats and jobs that should take 5 minutes talking endless wasted hours.

See Sony are renowned have have non user friendly software. Your far better offsticking to one of the biggies such as a Zen or an iPod. Far more user friendly.
